Thanks for the tips, although would have also been nice if the video was split into parts (the timestamps thing y'know).

A positive feed forward : could be reduced by factor 2, too long, words too small not readable, generic very nice but too long (we do not care). We lose you after 5 min. Your niche is too challengung, shoyld niche down. Cheers

Thanks for the feedback! These are video versions of our podcast, so they are definitely a bit long for TH-cam standards. We are looking at how we might do a better job cutting down shorter clips from the pod as a way to address this. Our niche is actually brand marketing for social impact orgs, and this episode is focused specifically on producing scroll-stopping content. I get that on TH-cam that niche is pretty saturated but for our audience these ideas are less widely discussed and understood. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment.

Nope. TH-cam today is just a nightmare. The algorithm is taking shortcuts because there's so much content now. This means that if you make perfect content, with great thumbnails etc which people genuinely love, getting you likes, watch time, comments, subs, the algorithm is still very likely to just give up on it after just a couple of hundred or maybe thousand impressions and your content flops. This whole video is just repeating Vidiq. They also no longer understand how youtube works today for new creators.

Thanks for the feedback. Would love to hear your thoughts about what approach might work better. This video is a video version of our podcast, and while relevant to TH-cam, is also meant more broadly for content strategy. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

Honestly? Nothing really works today. There's just too much content... So you just need to constantly make the best possible content you can and then be lucky with some of that content. Growing big on youtube as a small creator today is, unfortunately, a lot about luck (and on other platforms it is similar). All you can do is increase your chances a little bit by making amazing videos with great thumbnail and engaging title and keep doing that without expecting anything from it (because likely you won't get anything from it... if that keeps disappointing you, you will burn out really quickly!)
