@@MrRob2904 , yes, you are absolutely right. The World Time should be swappable with the hands like other G-Shock watches. As for the negative display, it wasn’t a show stopper for me b/c I went with the overall look-n-feel for this one. The other Mudmasters didn’t do it for me so I compromised … but you’re right on that; the negative display isn’t its best feature (I’m staying polite here 😉) Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching.

Hi@@lajostresser482, The visible dial size is 51 mm i.e. I’m including the crown and measuring on the horizontal axis going through the middle of the dial. If you look at the vertical axis, the portions that are still part of the watch is 55 mm (I’m including the sections that stick out to attach the strap at noon and at 6 o’clock). In addition, if you want more detail, the blue portion of the “inner” bezel where it’s indicated “G-Shock” at the top and “Shock Resist” at the bottom, it’s 43.5 mm. I hope this helps. Hi@@torgomax, The Seiko SARG009 and this Ballista A-5S are completely different watches and will greatly depend on what you intend on doing with the one you will choose. The Seiko seems to be more versatile and will be a nice daily wear type of watch that will fit at a dinner with friends and a casual stroll in the park at just over 40mm diameter. In addition, the 6R automatic movement typically has a Diashock-type protection to it but will never be as tough as a quartz movement like the one in the Bertucci. The Bertucci A-5S is a larger watch at 44mm and wears large as well and is much heavier too. It has a rugged look-n-feel to it that may not fit a casual wear while you’re out at dinner with friends. It’s truly a field watch you’d wear while you’re going hiking or doing yard work or renovating your basement. But, that’s just MY two cents worth. It’s your money and I think you will love whichever watch you decide to acquire … depending on availability too. All depends on your budget as well. The Ballista is readily available on the Bertucci website at $577 USD but you’d have to find a reliable source to get the Seiko SARG009. On eBay, it’s closer to $800 USD. @timetowatch_francois I own a Seiko Sarg 009,bought it almost 10 years ago on Amazon for $400. I have decided that the Balista is too large for my wrist. I have decided to go with the Super Yankee A4T. Out of stock at the moment.👍

Hi@@MrSardonycus, I see what you mean. The Valour is now “new and improved” and has a great value nonetheless. However, I feel that a true field watch should provide true peace of mind and a Quartz movement provides that. In addition, the fact that it’s solar, adds to its perfect Field Watch status. The one major difference that play in favour for the Valour is the screwed down crown. The one major thing that plays against the Valour (and it’s important to me) is the NH35 automatic movement that may be knocked “out of wack” when it undergoes rough treatment and shock. De plus, G-Shock semble écouter ces types de commentaires car, de plus en plus, ce bouton, sur les autres modèle, n’est plus si difficile et est au même « niveau » que les autres (ex: M-5610U ou la GMW-B5000). @@timetowatch_francoisJe leur conseillerai de faire un double clic sur le même bouton pour remettre le chronomètre à 0 que pour l'allumer du même style que chez olight c'est intuitif ça fonctionne bien.franchement moi j'arrive pas à appuyer sur ce bouton à main nue

Also keep in mind that Hamilton watches typically have longer lugs. In this case, the Lug-2-Lug is just a little over 52 mm 🫢 Thanks for your comment and good luck in your search.

Yes 42 def. too big. Im a 6.6 inch wrist and 38mm is perfectly proportionate.

@timetowatch_francois ok. I will look. I am still not sure until I see this piece with my own eyes and try it on. At the moment I would probably still buy it as it does look like a solid piece .

Also those gaps and crevices are a great place for dirt and crap to build up.

Hi Mike, I see what you mean by “Copy Cat”. The Look-n-Feel is very similar but I feel they added a few Islander-like design elements. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and thanks for watching. IMHO, in this industry, as you must already know, many of the watch designs are inspired by other watches. Take the very first Rangemaster, it’s a cross between a Tudor and a Rolex and that’s b/c it’s a design that works and people like it. I wasn’t aware of “Linde Werdelin” before you mentioned it and, in the case of the “RM II”, it is a very different design from all my other watches … and it’s 20 times less costly 😉 Thanks again for your comment.

@, Hi , this is not my watch design. I acquire the watch same as all the other customers. I think both Marc and Tristano put together an interesting watch. I liked the black dial best b/c of its legibility but I think the white dial showcases the dial better.
