I'm a CPA, mostly working in tax compliance and consulting. I've also been really into learning about AI keeping up with the updates lately. As someone who doesn't come from a tech background, It's been difficult for me to think of a use case in which I could use an API and it be worthwhile and a learning experience. Seeing this makes me think I could probably develop something that could act as an intake interface for onboarding tax clients. From requesting and gathering information or just doing a questionnaire, to see what they might need help with. Maybe could just have a line that could field clients' general tax questions.
Yea theirs lots of opportunity for AI for client onboarding, especially for CPAs who do allot of async communications with their clients. I’m actually implementing a system to automate some of that work for a tax client I have currently. Gonna make a video about that soon!
