One Piece Opening 25 Remastered: The Peak - Gear 5 Luffy vs Kaido AMV v1
Been a long while! The last AMV I worked super hard on got completely restricted due to copyright, which really killed my drive to upload videos - I'm hoping this one goes up and stays up!
I added subtitles via TH-cam's Closed Captioning, because I didn't want to bake them into the AMV and cover up the amazing animation.
These next few AMVs are kind of like a "What if TOEI had the time to finish Opening 25?" I loved it regardless, but the first 1/3 or so of the original OP having to be dimmed flashbacks in a small circle was tragic, considering how much fantastic work went into the rest of it.
(ALSO I "animated" some lightning during the part where Luffy turns the mountain to rubber to launch himself, and a few impact frames near the beginning before Luffy grabs the purple lightning, so I'm sorry that they don't look as amazing as the rest of the animation lol.)

I agree 100procent with this but the only reason I feel this way is Luffy Vs katakuri is way more personal Luffy Vs katakuri is about to men trying their hardest to protect their family and that's why it's so great Luffy Vs kaido is just Luffy taking back wano form kaido we have way less of a connection to the samurai and wano then we do with the straw hats whole cake island was Luffy protecting what he still has left wano was just him helping the samurai get back what is theirs both are amazing arcs but whole cake island is just feels WAY more personal then wano does

Katakuri still had some fight in him, don’t agree with Luffy winning, it should of been a tie, but with both fighters acknowledging each others strength, and with katakuri letting Luffy leave the mirror world.
