Pancake?
too early for Pancake
I have real safety concerns about these boats since I have heard first hand from people who had the jacks fail, frames collapse while on the water.
I think it’s a hidden Festool warehouse
Great job so far! These episodes are fantastic!

is this ee brakes compatible with a mudguard and rear rack?
Transylvanian homestead yes, not Saxon.
Good job! Just received my Oru Coast XL!😊

What's better on a Brompton, a 9 speed derailleur or a Rohloff hub? How much more weight is the Rohloff?
How do you get theold one off!!!!!!!!
Nicely done!
Awesome video buddy! And you have shown the brutality that the weather can dish out in this part of the land. Well done! But then I always say, “a bad day camping is still better than a good day at work!”
Great video buddy 👍
How is your longterm experience with these brakes?

Why pump? Just pull off a fairing and tip it up. One of the best features of an oru.
Have you used the original rear hinge or do you know where to buy an alternative?

Well, I learnt a great deal there.
Well done.
This calmed my nerves
I'm honestly asking because I don't know - is installing it over carpet normal? At first I was thinking it would definitely dampen sound and be more comfortable - but then I was thinking is it gonna flex when you walk on it and crack / make creaking sounds in the joints?

Cracking job. Is there anything you can’t do?!
I don't know where she found me.

Thanks for doing these excellent videos. It is helpful to have a step by step guide with the rationale for each decision.
The combination of a Rohloff hub on a Brompton dramatically increases the range and types of places one can go. This video demonstrates this fact. I have a T line for London, but for hills, gravel, and touring I always prefer my Rohloff Brompton.
What's better on a Brompton, a 9 speed derailleur or a Rohloff hub? How much more weight is the Rohloff? Would you want to put the Rohloff on your T-Line? Maybe put a Swytch hub on it too?
Wish you would have shown dropping the bearings into the cups.
What float bags did you use? I know from doing self rescues with my Bay ST with the Oru float bags in it that their bags don't displace anywhere near enough water especially for trying to do a cowboy self rescue with that much water in the boat. As woofna1948 mentioned below, after all the water in the boat rushes to the stern when you climb onto the back deck, the boat becomes so unstable it's not possible to complete a cowboy self rescue. If the boat had two float bags in the stern behind and in front of the rear "bulkhead" that took up most of the internal volume behind the cockpit, it might be possible to do the cowboy even with that much water inside the boat. Maybe. I know said you forgot your pump so you didn't have the option of pumping out water before attempting the self rescue, but that's probably the only way to have a real shot at making that the rescue method work for the Oru. I admire your persistence in trying to make it work.

@@alexmariusbalan Thanks for the link to the other video. That looks like a cool set up. Did you use those Watershed dry bags in the Cowboy Rescue video here, or did you give the link to the other video to show what gear you used later? It looks like the set up in the other video would provide a lot of floatation. And, thanks for all your videos with your Oru.
