We enjoyed a lovely visit to Thakadu a few years back, the staff were really fantastic & the food was delicious. Very comfortable rooms too. Game viewing is always a lottery but our guides worked really hard for us and we really enjoyed our drives.

Its been destroyed.....it took one weekend to burn it down by a mob and the police were unable to assist the owners when they called for help... President Mandela was a regular visitor to this lodge and many other important celebraties......

Barely a mention of the Game Reserve. If all one wanted was a posh comfy Room - stay Home, or local Hotel. Save the drive and fuel.
Everything is perfect, except the mosquitos, and also my wife killed a big spider
an amazing accomodation. we stayed there about 3 weeks ago and the little houses are incredibly cool! definitely going to recommend this!
