I had one in 2017, it was a 2015 with the 1.6 baseline engine and manual gearbox. It was an excellent car for the money. I’m on the market today looking for a compact car, and I would love to get a 2017, but I can’t find one with a manual gearbox, as the automatic one had huge gearbox issues.

Love my 2019 Micra.......the only drawback..... I cant seem to get past 35 mpg.......but the automatic transmission is a lot more reliable than Nissan's CVT.....the manual transmission model will get 40 mpg easy......

Don't buy a Focus, especially the early models. Ford doesn't stand behind its products and I will now be forced to pay for Ford's design defects in the early PowerShift dual-clutch transmissions. Ford keeps replacing the clutch pack because the oil seals keep failing in the transmission and cause gear oil to leak into the clutch housing and contaminate the clutch surface. So, from now on, I'll have to pay for Ford's negligence. It's completely unethical for Ford to not admit to problems in the transmission's design. FIRST and LAST Ford product, EVER. I can't wait to get rid of this car before the seven year warranty ends. I'm going to have such huge negative equity in the car, but I'm so happy to not have to deal with having to go back in every 20 000 kms to have the clutch pack replaced. If you want a Focus, get the five speed manual - the Focus is a great car with the manual transmission and 2.0L 4.

They are selling very well in Quebec. With our 4 seasons, bad roads, the high ground clearance, excellent visibility, makes this SUV a great choice in Canada.
