HealthyOutLoud is about sharing with you videos about the beautiful places I've been to and some places that I have yet to discover - to show you that relaxing, de-stressing, and having fun contributes to how I maintain a healthy mind and healthy body. I like to travel because based from my experience, traveling helps me to rediscover myself and have a new outlook on life. I will be sharing the places I go to relax, have fun, and the places I go to exercise and hike. I am a nurse in New York City and I travel only on my vacation days and day offs. Epic floodwaters thousands of years ago tore through the valleys on both sides tearing and creating the cliffs at the same time the Hudson River cut through the Hudson highlands to the east. The entire Hudson valley which the Shawangunks overlook was created this way.

Beautiful vid! The local streams (Plattekill, Lucaskill) come down from the mountain so they don't get any warmer in July or August. This video brings back memories of my childhood in Blue Mountain.

Maybe difficult for the narrator, but really not very difficult. Kids do it all the time. I did it a few times myself. The Lemon Squeeze is very short, Maybe a tenth of a mile. Beautiul place though. Warning. Mohonk charges $30 per person for day use of the the property. Minnewaska charges $10 per car for the day. Different, but just as good.
Hi Russ, thanks for watching. Yes, i think it was hard for me but there were a lot of people who hiked here on that day so I think it is doable for most people. The view is beautiful though so for me it was worth it.

Thank you! Yes I have a great friend! So it usually takes me 6-7 hours to edit 10-12 minutes of video. I use iMovie for all of my vlogs. 😃

Is there a separate entrance fee or parking fee besides the hiking fee? I'm also.afraid of deploying my drone. Is it legal? (blink once for yes, twice for no) haha

I would suggest asking the visitor center when you go here. It’s probably not expensive because if it is, I’d probably remember it. LOL! Now… about the drone.. I was confident to fly it here because it says all clear on my B4UFLY app.. that’s why I flew it all around the gorgeous Mohonk House.. i also did not see any signs saying not to. I hope this answers your question.

Hey Ben! You should! They’re delicious! The one I featured here is my favorite spot to eat out but there are other great Filipino restaurants around. Just take the 7 train to 69th street and walk along roosevelt Ave. I can even give you recommendations if you decide to go there.

Hello! This is in Burnett Road, it seems like a private property. So what we did here is we rented an Airbnb called “Waterfall Farmhouse - Private Waterfall and swim hole” it’s like a package deal when you rent the house. I hope this helps.

Hi Sonam! Thanks for watching! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! As I recall, we parked nearby the Visitor Center. On their website, the address is 3197 state route 44/55 Gardiner, NY. They have other trails, too. For a more complete information, you can check their website at: mohonkpreserve.org The parking lot gets full so it helps to get there early. Also check first because I don’t know if which trails are closed in the winter.
