I hunted with Lanny in New Brunswick 2004, we had stopped to check out some tracks, Lanny opened the back door of the Suburban and an Orange fell out, he grabbed his rifle, had me throw the Orange in the air, he shot it , turned to me and said now we have Orange Juice!
Love listening to Lanny's stories thanks for sharing
Two of my great friends right there 👍🇺🇸🦌🇺🇸👍 God bless you both 🙏🙏 Hopefully see 👀 you at the Yankee Sportsman Classic!! Like allways that Vermonter Bert Saldi
Bob great you brought one of the Legends of our sport on. Stories are priceless. Keep it coming and hope to do a hunt with your outfit. I am a veteran of 28 years in the MEANG.
I am 57 and yes you are spot on about the big guy upstairs. He has come through in my life many times. It always seems like he comes through when times get bad. Put your trust in him and give him all the glory!
Agreed- the Allfather provides
Thanks for the video enjoyed very much!!! God is great without him we are lost
Nice job, guys. PS you're flag is displayed backwards
I remember going to school and always waiting for you guys to get back from Maine with all the big bucks hanging in front of the house in Duxbury.
I could listen to Lanny all day long
My brother got a gsp named Abby from Tenly years ago great lady great pup !!
I,My One Brother Don Met Lanny,Lane & Shane at a Sportsmen's Show In Harrisburg ,PA
Best big buck hunter ever to take air in
I always heard he was the biggest poachers in maine.im not sure I don't know much about him .
I don't doubt that that is what you may have heard. Successful people are always accused of foul play by other people who think they are the bestest. For many years i would fish a local walleye tournament, same weekend every year, got to know a lot of people that i thought were my friends until one year i actually won the tournament. Apparently because i wasn't local enough i must have cheated somehow to win even tho we did well every year. I can imagine what some people were thinking back in the day when the Benoit crew was in their prime. These guys worked hard to get the biggest bucks in thier area, part of that work was getting up very early and driving the roads well before sun up to see if any of the bucks they were familiar with had crossed the roads after a fresh nites snow. I'm sure that would raise a few eyebrows in the deer hunting community.
Love the legends telling stories , the bad stories are the best thank you have him again and his brothers or nephew
Tenly is the BEST!!! Awesome episode!
9:50….. there is something to your statement in the beginning. That was kinda rude.
Hey that’s awful good they let Lanny out the nursing home for the day..
It took a little bribing but the Howe's pulled it off. He had to be home by 3
Woodman arms is hands down the best muzzleloader I’ve ever owned. Timmy answered all my questions I had. Great product!
Couldn't agree more!
Great job and thank you Dennis Bolduc for stopping buy!
Thanks for the program guys. Any word yet on whether the 11x40 Rabbit Hunter snowshoes will be available by this winter?
If you have already ordered they will be in and if not, you need to get on the list. Contact Maine Guide Snowshoes
@@MaineKnowsHowe Awesome! I'm Order #1009 from Feb 19th. So, I guess I'm on the list. I've heard a lot of good things about these snowshoes.
Great interview with Seth, enjoyed throughout!
We appreciate all your kind words and are glad you enjoy these episodes.
Another great episode on Maine Knows Howe!! Great job boys!😊
Thanks again!
Great Stuff Bob and crew 🇺🇸🦌🇺🇸 The Vermonter
Many thanks to the Howe family & Pine Grove Program for the invite
He is the best deer hunter EVER
Anyone watching this who wants the secret........ Go hunting.. There is no shortcut. I'm not being mean, just honest.. Get out in the woods... If you stay long enough you will be doing the teaching, not asking. Do you truly think these guys asked how to track deer? Do you really think Dad said ""This is how you do it Sonny""".? Put your phone down.. Spend your time in the woods... Best free advice you will ever get.. Thank me later, go hunt.. ~God Bless
Awesome Maine knows Howe🦌 🇺🇸 🐻 Bob Great story about the great white bear hunter 😂🤣😝 good one 👍 Good Luck too all in the Great outdoors! Keep up the Great Stuff guys!! The Vermonter BS

We appreciate your feedback❤
That's a heck of a bear story. Nice show
Thanks for tuning in !!
Well I hunted a lot with Steve and little Donnie but unfortunately not the Benoits. But have to say bob is awesome guy. Question is that wyatt? bobs son if it is he has grown up man has time gone bye.
Thanks for sharing, brings back memories Nov. 20, 1986, hunting off the Golden Rd, after shooting and dragging my buck to truck I had the honor to meet Larry Benoit when he stopped by to check out my deer, assuring my friend my that I got a good one and he was well over 200 lbs. (229 lbs) If I remember right they were driving a blue Chevy Blazer. There was 6 inches of snow on the ground w/ flurries at 1;00 pm by Saturday we had 36 inches more and that just about killed the hunting.
Thank you everyone for your great comments and support of the podcast. Each month we will be bringing you new guests that you will be sure to enjoy. Stay tune & subscribe !
I wish that had been longer. I love hearing that man tell deer stories. Great episode 👍
I remember seeing Larry’s seminar in Albany, NY back in the 80s. I was a teenager. Didn’t realize I was listening to a legend. Fast forward a few years and I became a big fan of the Benoits.
Finally someone honest about how the deer herd isn't what it used to be 😢
The thing I liked about the Benoit videos was Lanny always seemed like the guy that didn’t want to talk or wasn’t going to let the camera stop him from shooting his Buck, but he was always the most patient and made sure everyone was ready. Would love to see footage of him on the hoof in his 20’s and 30’s.
I hunted with Lanny , Lane and Shane in New Brunswick in 2004 , I was with Lanny in his Suburban we had stopped in a clearing, we opened the back door and an Orange fell onto the ground, I picked up the Orange and Lanny grabbed his rifle, he told me to throw it up in the air, he shot it in the air , turned to me and said now we have orange juice 😂
Great story. Sounds like him too from what I know of him reading and watching!
@@patrickirish9427great sense of humor, Stopped by Larry’s house and met with him one day, he was making knives out back, we spoke for 1/2 hour and I ordered a knife from him. Goes in the woods every year
Lanny Benoit Greatest Deer Tracker in my opinion ever I feel most people would agree 👍.
X2
Where and what time of the year does Lanny hold his tracking school. Thanks
What a great episode! Lanny’s stories are priceless and there are nuggets in every one. Wish we had them all recorded. There’s a really good chance Lanny is the best buck tracker to ever play this game.
Good podcast !
Enjoyed watching very much! Great work guys
My dad has the original book “How To Bag The Biggest Buck Of Your Life” by Larry Benoit. I have been through that book front to back, countless times. I used to look at the pictures before I knew how to read when I was little. And I’m now 48 yrs old. I’ve always been amazed how the Benoit’s hunted. And in my opinion, Lanny is the best of the best. There’ are ALOT of incredible deer trackers and hunters, but there’s only one Lanny Benoit. A prime Lanny tracking a buck was pretty much untouchable. I can’t even imagine how many bucks have fell to his trigger finger.
You can pretty easily figure it out. There is a bag limit and there is an amount of years that he could have possibly hunted.
Great channel!
Glad you enjoy it!
Lanny Legend
Thanks Bob for another great podcast, i met Larry Benoit back in the eighties when we were wiring a condo in Waitsfield and he was taping sheetrock when i lived in Barre and also bought his book, How to bag the biggest buck of your life and didnt even think for him to sign it. Thanks so much for the Bear hunt a few years ago. Looking forward to more! Tom McDonald U.S.M.C.
Another great episode!!🦌
