Well it really depends. If you want to run the most optimal version like for tourneys and events, then I'd look into a more standard list. But if you want to change it up then i'd probably switch to the bt17 fenri and add some bt17 kazuchimon to go with that takamikazuchi combo. You could definitely use the Cerberus engine to give a Kazuchimon rush. Or even use matadormon ability to digivolve into a fenri and revive kazuchi ty for the comment

I'M kind of shocked at how budget the dark animal cards are! There is alot of power here

I agree! I played Royal Base pre-EX8 and I want more support for that deck. Who knows, I might do a Cendril build with BoltBoutamon too

How this works?

@mattheusjob3287 you'd need both Cendrilmon and a boltboutamon in play at the same time, along with a target for the overclock. Cendrilmon (or any digimon with overclock) deletes another Puppet or token to attack. Boltboutamon sees that and trashes an opponents security since it's an all turns effect.

HERCULES just does a lot in combination but yes, I think it's a very useful option for many decks who might want to run it or just want a good option

this is literally what I did! I hasn't been able to get any terrier things, but pulled hercules and its AA in 1 box, so I decided to play it in my Zephagamon and has been doing wonders stealing turn, also the extra DP comes really handy with Zephaga from ex7, it really is a decent alternative

@@GreymixShiro Glad to hear it's worked out! Have you used MegaGargomon with the Zephagamon? If so, which Ace felt better? And also, think running 1 would be fine?

@@elixer88 I haven't but I seen gameplay and Megagargo ace has a stronger floodgate effect and a better ofensive, also at only 1 copy or Hercules, I didn't see him enough to know how good it could be, at 2 is fine, or if you mean if you want to play 1 Herc and 1 Megagargo, I think is better to play just one of them at 2 to more reliably use them instead of trying to adapt and have more options, because if you don't draw the one you need in time, it might feel bad or make you think it was't a good idea

Metal ace is also funny in the same vein as Vikemon in that you can dedigivolve a Digimon with X antibody options in its sources into the X antibody.

That is 1 improvement that will be made going forward

IT could have sold a set on its own but Bandai putting it in here just makes the set even better for everyone

Yes, that is true It was hard picking the first deck in the series but there is more to come. I do stress one of the key picks for a deck is that it is budget friendly and has possibility for future support. And we know the Olympus 12 will get support in time so whether its Merukimon or just fortitude support it should be cool. TY FOR THE COMMENT!

@ No problem. Yeah, I get that budget is going to be key, even in a game like this. For future decks, might I suggest Chessmon? It’s relatively cheap with most of the support being in bt13 and st19 with the Ex7 Arisa tamer. It can either go hyper aggressive or do the JumboGamemon gameplay.

I like Leomon but I went against it for now as I think a beginning deck shouldn't have too many things going on. Also not saying Leomon is the most complex deck but all the vids in the series are made with the idea in mind that anyone with any experience could watch, learn and play. Also hopefully expose them to the variety that the game offers.

It can go in any deck and can flood gate some mega's, card is so good!

Yeah, the deck has a really big ceilings in terms of power but definitely needs the new waves of support to push past and become a meta contender

@ADDARMYOFF not at all, blitz is kind of better (or atleast inside the archetype) because it allows you to cheat the order of when digivolving and attack declaration
