Are you the First in your Family to go to college? Law school? Have a "White Collar" Job? Me too.
My name is Andrenna. I am the daughter of Central American immigrants, and am now the proud mother of a 3 year-old son. I am the first in my family to go to college, and am now a practicing attorney in the DC area.
My journey has not been easy, but I have been fortunate to have people in my life to guide me and give me the tools to overcome all of the obstacles that I have had to face.
Now it's on me to continue paying it forward. Welcome to FirstGen Flourish! I hope to share my experiences and insights with others who are navigating their own academic, professional, and parenting journeys. I also be sharing how I balance all of the above as a neurodivergent individual (ADHD) with a chronic autoimmune disease (Lupus).

I had to come back and let you know I had no idea about the airline ticket scholarship as soon as I seen this I called my brother and told him he went to check it out and it turns out he only had just under 20 minutes to apply! I discuss both in the video. The strategies for practicing are the same. The only thing that changes is the timing and the scope of the subjects.
