A mid-handicap golfer playing some of the nicest courses around the country.
I Played The Club at Savannah Harbor
Sorry for the delay! This was shot back in January so the course isnt in that great of shape when I played, but believe me, this is a great course to play in peak season.
As for myself, well, Im still not 100%. I have elbow pain and cant swing a club right now until the inflammation goes away. Im hoping to be back by June/July.
I have one more video at Palmetto Dunes. That will come out in May.

The Wind Was Wild at Wild Dunes

The SC road trip heads to Charleston where I play Wild Dunes Links course. This has to be one of the windiest courses Ive ever filmed. And a big congrats to Mark Hartmann for getting the correct answer to the giveaway!
Hitting Fairways and Greens at Old South (WATCH TILL THE END FOR SPECIAL GIVEAWAY!)
มุมมอง 1.2K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
SPECIAL GIVEAWAY! Name the course based on the aerials you see (with white border). First to name it correctly will get a free box of balls of your choosing under $60. One guess only. Only hint I will give is that it is NOT in the Hilton Head area, but is in the state of South Carolina.
I Played Hilton Head National (POORLY)
มุมมอง 3K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
Located just a mile from Hilton Head Island in Bluffton, SC, HH National is one of my go to courses every time I'm here. Unlike some nearby courses situated in residential areas, Hilton Head National has no houses on the course, giving it a secluded feel. The fairways are generally forgiving, though there are some tighter tee shots on the back nine.
I played one of MKBHD's favorite courses, Ballyowen Golf Club

The last course vlog of 2023! Its been a fun year of playing golf, and I capped it off at one of the best public courses you can play in NJ, Ballyowen Golf Club.
MY FIRST EAGLE ON THE CHANNEL! AT CASPERKILL GOLF CLUB
มุมมอง 1.4Kปีที่แล้ว
Casperkill Golf Club is where I shot my lowest round ever. Although I didnt play nearly as well as I did that day, I was still able to have another memorable moment, this one being an eagle on 18. It's my 4th eagle I've ever had, my first being at Patriot Hills.
I Continue My Hudson Valley Golf Tour at McCann Memorial Golf Course
มุมมอง 1.1Kปีที่แล้ว
Located in Poughkeepsie, NY, McCann Memorial is a favorite among the locals for its excellent condition and challenging course. The one thing that is apparent when you're playing this course is how tight the course feels with trees lining the fairways on every hole.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly at West Point Golf Course
มุมมอง 2.3Kปีที่แล้ว
At only 6100 yards from the tips and 5600 yards from the gray tees, it doesn't sound long but don't let the scorecard deceive you. The elevation changes and tight fairways make this a very tough but scenic course. It also doesn't help when you are dealing with severe alignment issues as I did in this course vlog.

My First Round Since Becoming a Dad...And The Experience of Having a Premature Baby
มุมมอง 353ปีที่แล้ว
This is not one of my typical course vlogs. This is more of a serious nature, and I wanted to discuss what my wife and I went through having a baby prematurely. It's a very scary and harrowing experience when a baby is born at 30 weeks, but I hope that talking about my experience will hopefully bring comfort to any other future parents who may be struggling with this.
I Headed Back to Harbourtown Golf Links
มุมมอง 3.6Kปีที่แล้ว
The last time I played Harbourtown, I shot an 87. So the goal for this round is to break it, as well as finding a birdie along the way as I have yet to accomplish that. This course is a beautiful and challenging course. All facets of the game need to be on point if you want to score decently.
A Tale of Two Nines at Tidewater Golf Club
มุมมอง 1.9Kปีที่แล้ว
My final round at Myrtle Beach lands us at Tidewater Golf Club. But with so many courses on my bucket list that I didn't get to play, I will definitely returning later this year! Tell me what are your favorite courses at Myrtle Beach and I will put it on my list for next year.

“But Can i make a fuck*** par putt?!” Hahaha great stuff
311 yard 3 wood?
My name is Ken also and I probably suck at golf too. I played that course about 15 years ago. That’s one tough course. If you walk it, you better be a great shape.
Enjoying the content! Heading to Hilton Head this weekend and playing a round… Heron, Atlantic Dunes, HH National? Sea pines worth double the price?
Spent a summer working there, watched a guy nearly ace #7, it was sitting on the lip. Fun track, North is better than the South IMO. They flipped the 9s on the North, used to start on the par 5 10th. Putting, get your hands forward a little more, looks like your hands are stuck behind the club head. But I could be wrong, just what I see. Good content!
Quivira in Cabo San Lucas is better than this course :)
My dad works here
Cool course, wayyyy too expensive
Great video. Anything coming up ?
Not at the moment. Im just getting back into golf again after not playing the entire year. Maybe in December when I go to Hilton Head
Hey Ken, love the videos. Although USGA rules as well as local rules state that any boll lost in the woods is either re-hit from the spot of the initial shot or drop where it went in with a 2 stroke penalty. In other words you don’t get the distance by only taking a one stroke penalty. You do if it is red stakes.
I live down the road from it.
Nice video. Love the links at Unionvale. 17 you needed to take 2 stroke penalty and put it in the fairway or re-tee. Lot of you tubers take lateral hazard when you need to play lost ball.
I’m a Poughkeepsie native and looking at your channel I didn’t see you play James baird national park. If you’re ever back here James baird is really nice as well! One of the toughest holes in NY on the back. Hope you come back and give it a shot
Solid content. I love your channel name too! 😂
you play all my favorites :)
Any other courses you'd like to see? I may be recording in September
Was this filmed in November
Last week of October 2022
Crazy, this video was in my feed today, and we are playing there Tuesday. We try to go a couple times a year there, great course.
Hope you had a good round!
@@kensucksatgolf Nope, my buddy cancelled due to chance of showers, we will try again. I hear you are from Carmel, I had a deli in patterson. Always looking for a fourth, let me know.
Respectfully disagree about it being anywhere close to the best. Way too many blind shots.
Whats your favorite Hudson Valley course?
@@kensucksatgolf Used to like Centennial a lot before Troon took it over. Had a couple of 5 hour plus rounds on weekdays and I was done. I don't care how bad a guy sucks. We were all there at some point. But at least hit your ball when it's your turn. And then go look for it. When a dude who is going to shoot 130 is on his phone when it's his turn to hit, I've had enough. I said something to the management, and the position was that with the high prices, they don't want to rush anyone. So the answer to your question right now is probably Pound Ridge. Your video was very well done. Excellent content and production quality. I'm a big fan of links style courses. Union Vale has nice conditions, and the staff is great. But the rounds I played there were maddening. Felt like you couldn't see your landing area like every other shot. Fortunately, I was playing with guys who knew the course. "Hit over toward the corner of that hill." "Hit between those two trees." You have zero chance of scoring well if you don't know the course. That's not a fair test of skill. Which is why we all love golf.
Nice video. You think you could have shot in the 70s from the front tees? I'm gunna try it next time. And start a trend.
This is a good question! Looking at the scorecard, I would say no. Its 400 yards less than the white tees. If it was a 1000 less I would say I probably could.
The ball did a 180 not a 360. Decent round. Gotta work on that swing speed tho. Looks like you’re half asleep with those lazy pokes.
There are alligators all over that course. We saw one 12-13 feet over 1000 lbs on the par 5 #3 and the par 3 #4 . Massive.
Yea! The water that splits the 10th and 12th holes also have a few gators. I only get to play in SC during the "winter" months so dont really come across them too often.
I've watched many of your videos and I can say you really struggled with your driver today
Enjoyed that! Playing WP on Thursday - great preview! Thanks!
Thank you! Hope you played well.
Sorry ken love your videos but there is no such thing as a "good liberal " . Lol
Love watching your vids! Hope the algorithm kicks in
Where are the vids?!
Combination of injuries and having a baby has prevented me from playing this year. Im hoping to start filming again in September if theres no pain.
I was able to play Pinehurst a couple of weeks ago now, twice on No. 9, twice on No. 2 and twice on No. 4. It would be a hard pick to choose which one is my favorite. No. 2 wins for nostalgia. It is stupendous. No. 4 though, so much character, I would play it every day. No. 9 is so much different. And a favorite. All things considered, I couldn't pick a favorite. If I could play those three, in rotation, for the next fifteen years, I would be golf satisfied. What a great place, Pinehurst.
Theres also so many great courses around the area too. I know people consider Myrtle the golf capital but Pinehurst has to be a close 2nd.
Jerry caddied for me at PB in 2013. Fantastic caddy and human.
best part of Ballyowen is that the girls working there wear short plaid skirts
This was pretty good to watch. I enjoyed the tour and commentary. Thanks Ken Sucks!
Nice birdie on 18!⛳️ respect there tough birdie
I would be interested in how you make your videos. Do you use an iPhone? Shot Tracer app? Do you have someone hold the camera or do you sit it on the ground? Any tips you could give would be appreciated! Love your videos.
Yea so i have an iphone with a tripod. If you start to record your own rounds make sure you get a sturdy tripod. Dont cheap out on it. For shot tracers, I do use the shot tracer app, but honestly, its gotten really bad over the years. Unfortunately theres not much of an option unless you have Adobe After Effects. Thank you for watching!
what a great layout!
You do anything but suck at golf. Also love the way you deliver the course and your commentary style. Subscribed.
This is one of the best golf channels on YT. Please continue to pump out more vids!
Thank you!
who are you? Anyhow.. good production. Thanks YT algorithm for showing me a cool kat
Appreciate the comment!
WERE YOU GET THAT HAT
At the pro shop in Harbourtown
Great vid!
Poor mans Cam Young
Great video! Great course! Even better footage. Did you bring your personal drone and what were the requirements to bring it?
Yes, there were no requirements. I just stored it in my personal bag.
@@kensucksatgolf Awesome! I've got a DJI Air 3 and don't want it to be an issue. Keep posting your videos man. I love the work.
casperkill is a great track
I might be playing there soon. Love that hat. Assuming you got it there?
Sure did. At the pro shop.
And i just 2 putt on shitty greens.. liar
You shot 42 front 9
#4 would really be a quad
Thanks for the video. Have tee time tomorrow morning in near freezing weather!
Played it same week as Pinehurst #2, #4 and Mid-pines but can’t remember any of the holes because the only one that remained engraved in my mind were from TR.
