The average attendance is 29,000 approx compared to Wednesday's 25,500 approx which is therefore higher by 3,500 but they are in the Premier League and, more obviously, don't have a rival club in the city that divides the fan base. Sheffield Utd though it pains me to say it are top of the Championship and have an average attendance this season of 27.700 thus far. If you had one club in Sheffield we would average way above Southampton's fan base. Also, looking at the history and the honours they've won between them, there is no comparison. Wednesday have won far more top League titles and FA Cups. And we have been to two League Cup Finals, winning one and losing one

There is no evidence anywhere that suggests at all he is going broke. He wasted over 3 million pounds on Ugbo which was the most expensive transfer since Rhodes in 2017.
