Opinions are subjective, but i dont agree with the "isaac is the Best Roguelike Ever" its just not, what i think it does though is that it is probably the most influential game of its genre

When you die you DO NOT make a new save file or lose all of your progress. That just ends your current run. It’s not like you lose your unlocks. It takes many many runs and deaths to unlock everything.

I just find the game to be OK. I may not fully love it, but I kind of like it. I find the game to be more funny than scary. To give you an example on what I'm saying here is Sometimes when you die, you get this unique visual that's more detailed than the game of something killing John or you just dying and then it cuts back to your Pixelated corpse along with the pixelated thing killing you. And then the game just abruptly cuts to the Mortis death screen with that weird music. For some strange reason, I'm just finding that hilarious. **In My Opinion**: The game is trying Hard to look scary and horrifying, but to me It just comes off as funny. Also, thank God this game’s community is a whole lot more tamer than ultrakill’s.

You say the doom lore is wild, look at the fnaf lore, that makes the doom lore look like a small chapter book that is neatly organized instead of a book the size of a box where it is so unorganized that its almost impossible to reorganize it
