Don't you need rubber washers at the top where the tap sits

My overflow, hasn't got a hole for the screw, so I'm having trouble trying to remove it. The whole thing is loose and has been leaking. Is there a screw behind to tighten it up?

Basically useless video for a DIY person, he may as well have told us how to fit this door frame, as someone pointed out, any people doing this the first time or being a complete novice needs help with stuff like which bolts screws, expanding foam, what to do if doorframe is too tall etc, constantly saying Ok and alright is a waste of time and no help at all, this would be a better advert for tea than fitting a door. Got to be one of the poorest DIY instructions I’ve seen, but saying that he is a likeable guy so I’ll credit him that.

Seems like a nice bloke. Heavy emphasis on "all right" & "ok". No. Im afraid a complete amateur like me needs to know stuff like what type of 4 inch screws. Are they made to go straight into actual brick ( not cement) , Do I avoid drilling parallel to hinges .What length of drill bits. How about seeing the actual door being fitted into the frame. How is it made level ie where do you put spirit level. Why not any packing around the frame/brick like in other videos . What did he actually do inside the house when he was adjusting the door hinge(s) with an allen key ? Thanks.

This helped me to understand what I needed to do to replace the bath taps.... yes I know that baths are not that easy to access, but for demonstration purposes the guy did it this way to give us a good view, and now I’ve managed to replace my old bath taps👍🏻.

How did you release the pop-up overflow? Mine just spins endlessly in either direction when trying to figure out if I can unscrew it.
