A short study by Fernando Sor. This is the 4th study from his Op. 31 publication. Beautiful piece as so many of Sor studies. I first played this over 60 years ago and have never abandoned it - thank you.
Even after one guitarist studies the most difficult pieces, going back to these short studies by Sor is special feeling.
Completely agree but just to put the Sor studies into context, John Williams' debut concert at London's Wigmore Hall consisted of Segovia's collection of 20 Sor studies.
