After this flight, Mick Foley as Mankind at King of the Ring 98' in his Hell In A Cell match with the Undertaker took some of the most horrendous bumps (getting thrown off the cell onto the Spanish Announce Table, threw the ceiling of the cell (it wasn't supposed to break like it did), had a chair smack him the face in that second fall, and then the thumb tacks were used. This particular match caused a lot of controversy over the level of violence that pro wrestling was using to keep the fans entertained. To this day, it's still talked about by everyone.

Regrettably in America, people were not paying attention to this flight and instead they were paying more attention to the infamous "OJ Simpson Murder Trial" that lasted till September of 1995 and also, "The Jerry Springer Show" was getting red hot in the ratings. Note that I'm not going to show any video of "The Jerry Springer Show" due to its strong adult content and strong adult language.
