Why can’t video creators get their facts straight before making an informational video?! NONE of the homes in Colonial Williamsburg are privately owned (except one-the big brick Armistead Victorian house close to Merchants Square!). The homes with residents are only rented out by those working for the CW foundation. No residences there are privately owned!!! Period!!! And no one can think of purchasing there so no worries about private streets!!! 🙄🙄

I saw some around Virginia Beach that looked nice and priced right but seemed to good to be true. Obivious i want a safe place and less then 45 min drive to work

Hello Amy, Thanks for the video. The drive through around the shopping areas was my favorite lol. My husband and I will be moving to ft Eustis in October and we are deciding between Williamsburg and Newport News. We want a nice neighborhood with the cafes and malls. Not too rural and not crazy busy. Which you think is better choice of the two ?

Thank you so much for this detailed and good video! I appreciate it. To me, commute times and more importantly, access to public transportation are tops on my list (along with cost of living and nice, clean, friendly town, of course). It really is a shame that not too many people care about how to make life better for people that don't drive or don't want to clog the road with cars.That's why I moved back to Champaign, IL. It is mostly clean (wish it was better), very friendly, does have the college town feel but also an actual regular people town feel too (I love both!). It has excellent public transportation (that actually goes all over town and at all hours) - one of the best in the nation and it has easy ways to get to Chicago, St. Louis, Indy, and many other places via greyhound, amtrak, and other charter buses that run a few times daily. These are all the things I DIDN'T have when I lived in eastern NC (Greenville). I could not wait to leave! Now that I wasted your time with a town you were not discussing (LOL), I want to say thanks again. I love to compare areas all over the USA.
