Saturday 28th of May 2022. aboard one of GWR's much loved HST 'Castle Sets' on the 15:18 service from Liskeard to Cardiff Central. constructed in 1854 the Royal Albert Bridge carries the cornish mainline (CML) 30 metres above the river tamar linking my home city of Plymouth with saltash and the rest of Cornwall.

this is in my opinion the most picturesque section of the riviera line. the sea wall has suffered from major damage due to stormy conditions and high tides. as you will see I pass multiple construction sites reinforcing the sea wall.

I don't see why not, maybe they could extend the Waterloo to Exeter route into cornwall

Me too but the other level crossing nearby at Kingswear station has had them replaced recently.
