MAYDAY - Complete Nexus TSAMS MAP @SunMoonShow
He was an honest, caring, hardworking family man who would have stopped at nothing to protect those closest to him. But when these expectations became too much, and when he failed to protect one of the people dearest to him, he changed.
Up until his demise, Nexus had tarnished the legacy he made for himself. His last few months were full of pure vitriol, tragedy, and despair. It’s difficult to comprehend just how much had changed in the span of a few months. It’s even more difficult to comprehend his death at the hands of someone he once called his brother.
Oh, Nexus… how did you end up like this?

‘Mayday’ is a map detailing the events that caused Nexus’s mental spiral, and just how deeply he was affected by them.
This map was first hosted about 5 months ago. What started out as a retelling of current events, has now turned into a time capsule of what led him to become “Nexus.”

I'm not completely caught up on the shows, I've been wading through them for a little over a month, but I've gotten past what this video deals with. I want to say, this was so poignant? I really liked this, I'll probably revisit it quite a few times. I've dealt with a lot of grief in my life, especially recently, and while the show encapsulates it really well, there was something about this that resonated a lot with me. thank you for putting so much effort into something and sharing it with all of us!
@@Juukai thank you so much for commenting, and im glad that it resonates with you <3 when I originally made this animation, I was also handling a lot of heavy grief because of things in my personal family life that almost coincided with the events of this arc. So while the animation is portraying the grief of the characters, there was partly my own grief seeping through as well because of how much I was able to resonate with and relate to the characters in this arc.
@@Rosekatz that definitely came through, which is probably why this was something that really struck me. and stuck with me, I shared it with a friend of mine who has listened to me rave about tsams but hasn't watched an episode of it themselves (though I gave them context so it would make sense). they also really liked the way that the emotion behind it was palpable. great job :)

Yeah, I know. I feel really bad for Nexus, because I've had the feeling of doing everything right, opening my eyes, and seeing that i'm the bad guy in the story, even though I never wanted or even tried to be... In fact, I still am... Yeah, I feel bad for Nexus.
