A tariff on foreign goods would just raise the price of said merchandise for the people in America. All that would do is raise inflation not help it.

You know jacking up tarrifs will increase prices right? The majority of our food and items come from other countries. And this is practically removing parts of income tax and will be exploited by the 1% to get out of paying taxes

No because if their is no tax on overtime thst means their is no payroll tax on the business after 40 hours. It would actually incentives business to give their employees overtime if they want it.

@@DC_space Overtime is what is worked over the regular weekly amount. Say the work week is 40 hrs and you work 50 hrs. This would give you 10 of OT. At time and a half this would mean the employer would pay the equivalent of 50 + 5 or 55 hrs of pay. Now if the regular week time was extended the time and one half is cut down to regular time. Saving the employer. A double shift is now a single shift. Hope this helps.
