    How do you start knitting if you have never use the CSM. I watched all the videos to make the setup bonnet and it never shows how you really start or how you cast on without an already setup bonnet

    What do I do when the rings don’t all catch. Yours did but mine don’t. Adjusting the tension on the 2.0 is not easy. Have you made a tension swatch for 2.0. I watched a video for the 1.0.

  • @JanetLanier
    @JanetLanier ปีที่แล้ว

    Since this video has been out a couple of years, you probably already know this but there is a method to anchor floats on a CSM called the E-Wrap Method. With this method you do not have to pick up the masts and rotate them around. The technique is demonstrated on Heidi Bear's YT channel and the video is titled "Colorwork CSM Virtual Crankin. It's a long video so the E-Wrap Method starts around the 39 minute mark.

  • @kristenhdavis

    Do you add the lace/tatting weight row before or after you put the ribber on. It isn't clear since it's just an offhand suggestion and not actually shown. TY!

COULD YOU DO A VIDEO ON HOW THIS IS DONE. I CAN KNIT A NICE TUBE BUT STRUGGLING WITH PUTTING IN TOES AND HEELS.

    Thank you. Someone gave me a knitting machine, with no accessories or instructions. This start procedure seems harder than knitting by hand, though once it gets going, I'm sure it's much faster. I'm wondering if I couldn't just make a few rows by hand and use that to proceed maybe even losely flat knit and then joined. It's just a matter of getting the right number of loops, or am I missing some clue? Also, this plastic device has only 16 needles. I assume I'd have to use very bulky yarn to make socks, or was it intended for some other purpose? Perhaps it's just a toy?
