My theory is: Monty was framed by Vanny, Vanny got a ton of robots to destroy Bonnie, She changed out of her bunny suit now is Vanessa gave Monty the signature Bonnie glasses as a gift as the new Bass player..... Her plan was in motions and thats why she said "You deserve a reward 😈 go to main stage" trying to stall us to get killed by Moon

This strongly depends how long the Mimic was trapped down there. If he had already bein down there fore a long time its unlikley it was him. There is howewer one thing that poeple often forget...who says this even was a murder? What if Bonny simply went to visit Monty, the two hung out in the catwalk and then Bonny fell down and got smashed. Maybe he leaned against the reiling of the Catwalk and it gave in do to bad maintanance. And Monty simply panicked and hid Bonny fearing he would be blamed. Ore maybe he told Vanessa and she, ore more precicley Vanny, was the one to tell him to just hide the bodey, make it look like an accident and leave it. And then he was forbiddon from telling anyone. His hyghtend agression could be a mix of guilt and the Glitchtrap Virus slowly eradicating his mind.

I know this video is almost a year old at the time of writing this, (jesus) but I would like to point out something. Before I do, I'd just like to say that, I do agree with the other evidence, like Monty not needing repairs after Bonnie goes missing, and that Monty didn't really have a motive, since he doesn't seem to care to show up for concerts. But this one piece of evidence bothers me. Everyone always says that Monty couldn't possibly be at fault because he didn't have the claws until *after* Bonnie went missing. I genuinely hate this argument, because here's the thing... in the Vanny ending, Vanny has Freddy "disassembled," ending up with near *identical* damage done to him that Bonnie has. And by who? STAFF BOTS. Essentially stick figures with FLAT fingers. If Staff bots are strong enough to do that kind of damage to Freddy, then Monty or any other animatronic wouldn't even need the special upgrade. I was a firm believer in Monty being the culprit, but with the reveal of the Mimic, I can easily see it being guilty.

I can prove that Monty destroyed Bonnie if you do one of the Monty golf mini games in the original security breach game, you can see Freddy inside a dumpster and that proves that Monty is jealous of Freddy and Bonnie

Oh yes, steel wall was the one who decided to or frame? it on Monty the disappearance of Bonnie I knew it was them all along. They were the true villain behind the incident.

OK this is my theory that Bonnie fell off the catwalks of Monty’s gator golf, and then Monty dragged Bonnie body to Bonnie ball where nobody would find him and then Monty threw a bowling ball on the wall and look like Bonnie tripped and fell, broke himself

I'm glad we finally got to see Glam Rock Bonnie for the first time in the ruin DLC because when security breach first came out The Disappearance of Bonnie left a lot of famous TH-camrs scratching their heads and wondering where he was but now it thanks to the ruin DLC we finally know where he is and what exactly happened to him sure we don't have the complete answer locked in concrete but at least we know what Bonnie looks like I'm just relieved that they didn't get rid of Bonnie completely because Bonnie was one of my favorite FNAF characters and he still is

100% was monty steel wool keeps hinting at it, it most likely wasn’t montys mind himself but definitely was vanny/mimic who hacked him

Monty has always been my favorite ever since Security Breach came out, and what happened to Bonnie, even after Ruin, never matched up for me All because of the claws! While all the Glamrocks have claws, Bonnie's (And now Monty's) are special, made sharper to help him play the bass and Monty did not have those special claws at the time of Bonnie's death. Monty is also shown not to be the smartest animatronic, so I doubt that he would think to cut up a peice of the carpet/find a big enough rug in Monty Golf, collect all the peices of Bonnie and put them on there, carry/drag it to Bonnie Bowl, hide it, clean up (Mainly the big stuff, like oil dripping or smearing on the floor if they have oil) and manage to do all of this while avoiding the cameras (If they were on at the time, which is debatable since Vanny could've turned them off) This could simply be an oversight as Monty's original special feature was his legs, but even if it is and Monty did just kill Bonnie, despite his actions not matching up with him being jealous (The only evidence of him being jealous is a level in the Monty Golf Mini-Game, he has no dialogue suggesting such and the detail mentioned here that he is actively avoiding preformances) and him not having the claws to cause that damage at the time Bonnie died, I would still love Monty as I think he's interesting

This makes perfect sense, and I really, REALLY hope that this is what happened because DANGIT I WANNA SEE GOOD MONTY ☹ (and Chica but that's a topic for another day) my only question would be how the Mimic got up there undetected, but then again, there are a loooooooot of vents, so...plausible! 🤷‍♀

I too believe that Monty is innocent because there’s no way steel wool would have made it that obvious that he did it one thing I’ve learned from reading murder mystery books is in the book they always have one character that seems like they would be the killer and essentially has all the evidence pinned on them but they use that in order to distract from who the real murderer is another idea is that Vanny could have controlled some one else to do it because maybe Bonnie found out about Vanny’s plans and the reason it took him 4 hours to get to Monty go,f is because he was running and hiding from whoever Vanny was controlling my theory is that she controlled Roxanne, but anyways then after that Vanny could have installed something in Monty’s new claws and killed two birds with one stone and made him more aggressive to draw away attention from herself and it’s annoying when people are like well oh Monty has the same sunglasses Bonnie had but I don’t think people realize that those glasses look very cheap so Fazbear could have either bought new ones or just given him an extra pair they had in parts and service to go along with the whole Bonnie gave up his legacy to Monty story that’s in Monty golf, and even though Bonnie’s pair was missing, it seemed like Bonnie was hit in the side of his head very hard with a bowling ball so if Monty did do it, which he didn’t, then his glasses would have been at least a little damaged which they are not and I think that Vanny/Vanessa could have faked the Security Report to say that he was last seen in Monty Golf because since he was hit in the head with a bowling ball logistically it wouldn’t make sense for him to even have been killed at Monty Golf also the “paint” doesn’t seem green enough to actually be paint and it’s probably just rust.

OK SO I am a no. 1 Monty defender for life. HOWEVER, I do think he had his claws before Bonnie was destroyed. Which, I hear you saying, we KNOW Monty only got his claws after Bonnie was decommissioned! Which is true! But I don’t think “decommissioned” is necessarily the same as “destroyed”? I think he was removed from the band and replaced by Monty before he ever disappeared. My evidence: 1. When we find Bonnie in Ruin, he does not have ANY claws 2. In the same room we find Bonnie in, there’s a ball rack featuring… a bowling ball of Monty. WITH his star glasses on. Meaning that Monty had already been given the claw upgrade (that I believe had been specified to have been Bonnie’s? So he literally has Bonnie’s claws) AND that this ball was already in use at the Pizzaplex before Bonnie was destroyed. We KNOW the glasses and bass have to have originally been Bonnie’s (as opposed to that being a retroactive detail in the gondola ride) because the warm, golden yellow of them matches Bonnie’s star, while Monty’s design tends to use much cooler toned yellows. So my theory (or version of this one) is that Bonnie was already in the process of being replaced, which was then expedited for one reason or another when something happened and Bonnie was deemed “out of commission”. It was only later that he was actually destroyed. Personally, I like to think he had found out about Vanny and was attempting to help a kid escape, just like with Freddy and Gregory. Unlike Freddy and Gregory, however, Vanny caught them and ordered the staff bots to disassemble Bonnie. Notice how his damage in Ruin is very similar to Freddy’s damage in the disassemble Vanny ending. Update: The claws were not specified to be Bonnie’s! But still, if Bonnie needs the claws to play the bass, that implies he wasn’t in the band anymore at that point. Also, I saw someone suggest that the green marks could’ve been WET paint. Obviously that’s not how dry paint chips, but wet paint could smear like that. They used this to suggest it could’ve been/involved Moon, since we know from HW2 that he’s working directly with Vanny, in a way none of the other animatronics are. Otherwise I’d say it’s either mold or some type of hydraulic fluid, it makes no sense to have been dry paint from Monty’s hands or Roxy’s claws.

The fact that it could have been Roxanne wolf who did it because there was scratches that were green and Roxanne wolf has green claws

People already mentioned that green on his chest could be his “robotic blood”, but I also wanted to mention that Monty had the same green color on his chest when he was hit by a bucket and fell of the catwalks. I think the fact that he is coming back there every time actually means something. So the main suspect is definitely the Mimic, but who exactly did the crime is yet a question. It could be Vanny using staff bots or Prototype Freddy (if it’s different from our Freddy), but in order to help the Mimic. And I really love the idea that Bonnie was onto something - either protecting the child or maybe he found out something he shouldn’t had discover.

I discovered a lot about Glamrock Bonnie's crime scene: The rusted pieces around him are from Nightmare Staff bots. The overlapping linear gouges in the wood are from the four spikes Staff bots have on their bases. A horde of them approached Glamrock Bonnie from both sides and attacked him the same way they attacked Glamrock Freddy.
