good
God bless you for sharing knowledge. There's a lot to learn from your channel.
Alright, thanks
Hi, Thank you for the videos. Please what brand of TPN MCCB do you recommend, because I am finding it difficult to get an ABB MCCB that is TPN. The ones I am seeing are all delta connected. Thanks
Merlin Gerin, Siemens, MEM Thanks for watching
@@jkmultimediasolutions3935 Thank you
I have watched all your upload and it's outstanding. I have learnt a lot . Please sir keep doing more videos.
Thank you
I'm enjoying your lecture sir. Your explanation is detailed.
Thanks, very well !
Please can I have your phone number sir.
Please sir I have a question! In a practical installation how can I determine the apparent power (KVA) of the red, yellow and blue phase as given in your question sir
Practically, or on the existing installation, make use of clamp meter to measure each phase current and phase voltage. Then, multiply each phase current by each phase voltage. The three results give you the apparent power in VA on each of the three phases. Then divide each phase apparent power in VA by 1000 and the result is the apparent power of each of the three phases.
th-cam.com/video/JTFfGuwQeq8/w-d-xo.html In designing on the other hand, please use the above directory to watch the video on DB load collation to know how to compute the apparent power on each phase.
th-cam.com/video/QY5wVTKmK7A/w-d-xo.html The above is another directory of my video that has to do with Apparent power calculations
Sir it will be more beneficial to make ur camera stable and clear. Your camera is Blunt. Please work on it sir. Thanks
Thanks for your observation and advice. I actually shared the videos to the Facebook from youtube and what I noticed is that when the videos are played on Facebook, there are some distortions in some cases, may be as a result of changing from Facebook to youtube. Meanwhile, if the videos are watched directly on youtube, they are sharper ! One can just type 'JK Multimedia Solutions ' and all the videos will come out. Anyway, the camera will be changed soon to see if the issue is that of the camera. Thank you !

Nice!!!!! m.th-cam.com/video/hkBy94x666U/w-d-xo.html
keep it up.
Thanks for sharing this video. Some few questions: How are the peak loads across the phases calculated? How do you compensate for future loads in your transformer selection? What standards are you referencing to select the transformer sizes after calculating the highest load in the network? Enjoyed the analysis. Well done.
The powers given in the example are the required phase powers plus some power surplus, so the selection /calculation takes care of peak and non peak loads. The surplus included in the given phase loads makes up for the future transformer incremental load. Meanwhile, one must be careful about the magnitude of the power surplus ! So that the ptoject cost will not be unrealistically high. The power surplus to be provided has to depend on the type of project and the distribution item in consideration. The use of transformers is flexible. For example I designed underground electrical power distribution system of a university campus some years ago, and I provided more power surplus on the underground MV cables than on the transformers, as it is easy to move a transformer from one load centre/sub-station to another, unlike MV cables buried in the ground ! The university campus is now in existence. Now, returning to the last part of the comments: Ref standard: NEC; Article 450 as regards transformers. Thank you, e-mail: jkadsols@yahoo.com
