Yes, really comfortable. This MP3 500 is pretty heavy, so super stable at highway speeds. I have an older model, so I'm sure the new models are even better.

Hello Michael, I highly recommend a MP3 500s to anyone interested. These Maxi scooters are amazing and super stable. I've not had any issues keeping the front alignment straight... and I take my MP3 500 on road trips and camping quite often.

Yeah, that would be fun Lance. Im here in Albuquerque. Right now, im sad because my MP3 500 is waiting to get an electrical issue repaired... but I have my other maxi to cruise on for the time being.

Especially in New Mexico, these Piaggio MP3 500's are super rare... not to mention the original models we have :) Its nice to meet someone else here that can appreciate the value of these vehicles. I still have the MP3 500. For this trip, I decided to take the Xciting 400i since I was going to stay on paved roads the majority of the journey.

@@check-itprod.3260 I am thinking to buy a MPs as I am now 61 and my triumph is getting too heavy for me at low speeds. I have nerve damage that weakened my right arm.

This bike handled beautifully on the dirt road. I wouldn't recommend it all the time... but for the camping trips I went on, it did great. Much better than my 2018 Kymco Xciting 400i on dirt roads. Check out some of my other videos on my channel to some highlights of these camping trips I mentioned.

The Piaggio Mp3 did pretty well... much better than the other Maxi scooters I've taken camping. The stability of the 3 wheels really makes a big difference in comparison to the 2 wheels. This bike does great with normal road & highway conditions. Cheers!

It was the camera that fell off. I was so surprised and happy that I found it 30 minutes later on the road. Luckily no cars ran it over... :) Thanks for watching Manuel!

Hello Jose, my apologies on this late response. The MP3 500 you have is a beautiful model. The model i have is the original 2009 European model that they advertised as off road capable. So last year, I decided to put that to the test. I took it on 3 camping trips and a couple day trips that consisted of decent off road sections in New Mexico. This bike handled the dirt very well... other than having to clean the air filter periodically during the trips and replacing some screws that rattled off... it did great. It performed much better than my 2018 Kymco Xciting 400i off road. I agree with you that its difficult getting parts and good service on these vehicles, especially since they are rare out our way. Absolutely 💯 recommend purchasing a Piaggio MP3. The 500 is super smooth at highway speeds and very stable even on gravel roads. You will have a blast if you get one :)
