No brakes! A motorcycle maintenance must do.
I like to change brake fluid every winter. I learned the hard way that your fluid can easily capture water or dust and cause brake failure. This also applies to hydraulic clutches.

Triangle tires? First impression tire comparison on my Z400
มุมมอง 78หลายเดือนก่อน
I rode my 2021 Kawasaki for 18,000 miles and went through multiple stock tire and I finally tried something new. I paid for these out of pocket and have no affiliation with any tire companies. #ninja400 #z400 #sportbike #dunlop #Shinko #Kawasaki

Oil change hack

How do you keep track of oil changes, motorcycle chain adjustments and notes? This is what works for me.
Chain Lube Hack

This is a hack that I just came up with today. No more cardboard and frustration. If you use a rear stand, you will probably need three license plates. 2021 Z400 Maxima Chain Wax I love Molalla!
Ninja 400 / Z400 Battery Tender install
มุมมอง 4.5K3 ปีที่แล้ว
I hope this video helps you out. I am a big believer in using battery maintainers. I always use Battery Tender, but I am sure there are other good brands out there. The hardest part is making sure the wires are not damaged and arcing out somewhere. Ask me how I know 😂🙋‍♂️. Learning from past mistakes, I wanted to make sure that I got this one right. This should work on all 2019, 2020, and 2021 ...
First oil change! 2021 Kawasaki Z400 @ 600 miles. Break in oil change.
มุมมอง 9913 ปีที่แล้ว
Headphone warning! I am new to this and the audio is very up and down. I decided to film the first oil change on my new bike. It is a brand new 2021 Kawasaki Z400. Thank you Dennis, at Power Motorsports in Sublimity. This bike is a ton of fun, even for an experience cruiser rider like me. I am excited to start running it hard, now that I am beyond the 600 mile break in. It is great for my commu...

I use a Battery Tender Jr. It works great for motorcycles.

I am glad that I could help. It is a bit inconvenient to take the seat off every time, but I like the clean look of not having the connector hanging out.

I was installing a scorpio security system and got stuck at finding the 12 volt switched wire on this exact model, any chance you know? Done a lot of googling and redditing, not mentioned much. Other than that, great video!

Good video, clean installation. There is another way to route, and in the location you want. I was able to route from the battery box through the tiny opening between where the plastic side panel meets the plastic tail section. I used a zip tie to secure cable to the sub frame. zip tie close to the connection plug to keep it from dangling and against the sub frame.
