Please know that I in no way am bashing flair bartenders, I respect what they do and how much they train for it, and I understand that flair bartending is fun and entertaining but ffs, I go to a bar to get shitfaced, not to be entertained. I'm very glad that there are normal bars and flair bars so I know where I'm going. Sometimes, however I'd go to a normal bar and have some asshole bartender doing tricks with my drink and I just want to say to him "Pour my drink please, I'm dry as a mule here"

How does one become ranked, "The number one flair bartender?" What's the scoring system for that. Also, I didn't see him juggling babies while using their mouths to pour liquor. I'm unimpressed.

Flair bartending is entertaining.... There's very little correlation between flair bartending and actually creating fine cocktails. You don't go to DisneyWorld to watch a ballet just as you don't go to the ballet to eat funnel cake and be around screaming children. Both are wonderful experiences, but they are totally different things.... so stop the negative comments... its all in good fun. As for the music... it's Carmina Burana written by Orff
