Very interesting and cool 😎 I have to visit this place someday and it has very good quality craftsmanship plus history. I want to build a look out tower from my place on Walker Street to be a reference point as it was Mr Edgar Aldridges favourite place to eat macadamia nuts with the local Aboriginal peoples from the mid 1800s.. He has his own street named after him here for a reason as it intersects my place on Walker Street, Aldridge Street start's from his property in old Maryborough town ends near my place as he use to travel along this route alot before the street was created 😊

These are homeless animals waiting to be adopted. We have a number of dogs and cats that need homes. Thank you to the pound staff and volunteers who do such an amazing job caring for them whilst they wait for a loving home.

Talk about castles.. why is the Council trying to build their own oceanfront castle complete with swimming pool, in an area suffering from record high land rates ? the region is basically a giant nursing home so there will never be significant income to pay for this humungous mistake. The existing council chambers is small yes, but the land is owned, as is the land NEXT to the council chambers, so they can build on land they already own, drop the fantasy of a pool, and remember that they are there to serve us rate payers, not our job to serve the council.

A must see I would suggest. Hoping I can come visit and that it’s accessible by those with mobility issues. 😊
