I love Astoria hotel but the room they. Show is really not the soul of it.Its not warm and nothing of wood or the 30 style too modern cold and empty of the era.thanks for all the great presentation.I love the restoration that bring velvet and the Spirit of the past that could be saved.

So sorry. The Waldorf - as the Plaza, too - were Places of high individual luxury. I cannot see this anymore, there is just what you call "Art Deco". Art Deco may offer quite something different styles origninally, but here, it's just modernism, nothing more. Another legend has gone - but there will always be fewer to regret as time passes by.

I will need at least 2 to accommodate my shoes

I'm a native New Yorker, born and raised, but now live in New England most of my life,The only time I'll be living at the Waldorf is when I hit the Mass lottery for at least $50 million dollars after taxes .

I'm shocked that the Waldorf Astoria would allow this low-quality upload to remain intact. Only high-definition visuals will suffice. Shameful.
