Thanks for letting us know to remove the part with the 2 ten millimeters bolt in order to be able to take out the alternator. I was trying for hours to take out the alternator based on other videos. They made it sound like it will slip out easily. I saw your video and was able to remove and put in the new alternator by just removing that one part. It was still a tight fit but doable. Thanks again.

When taking off the bottom bolt and the connector did you do that from underneath the car?

Only thing not mentioned was the harness around the positive terminal. The last step before removal is slide that off by hand

You're the only video that explains how to install the final bolt on top. Thank you very much mentioning the tensioner it is simple and easy to do and it should fit right in. Other videos if they even mention anything say loosen the motor mount and on and on and jacking up the the engine and on and on and I'm glad I saw your explanations and thank you. It's Christmas Day and I've got dinner at 4:00 at my sister's house so maybe I'll make it on time thanks to this video Merry Christmas😊🎉

Changed the battery and issue with low battery is still there.

You can remove it without going underneath. I just did mine completely from above & had it out in about 30 mins. Most difficult part is removing the old alternator you have to maneuver it through all the hoses and mounts. My advice to anyone would be remember which way the old one came out to put the new one in. I noticed the best option was top 2 mounts out first then work it out. Took me around an hour to do start to finish. Great video thanks for the help!

Battery replacement went smooth, great video! However, after replacement no AC or climate control panel. i checked all the connections and fuses. Every thing else works electrically, Coincidence, Suggestions?

I really like how you put out the tools needed and showed how things come apart after you had already removed it. But I really wish you had filmed the whole process of putting it back in in the struggle of putting that positive cable on and then aligning the thing on the two brackets. Cuz that's where the real struggle is on this, in my opinion. But aside from that, you made a really good tutorial.

i have a question see the wire on the negative terminal you took out? that was somehow already unplugged on my car and my car had an engine light for a large leak and after replacing the battery the engine light is completely gone.. is this related?

Nice video,got a 15 optima was having a loud noise changed the Left outter tie rod, much better but still a little noise,now I see...why...last two days noticed the steering wheel is a bit stiff hear and there trying to figure that out, think it might be a bad strut, found alot of rust on right side strut mount..... 😂.... never ending... thanks for the help.....
