What's up Drip Detective, I'm in Dallas, Texas and having difficulties finding companies whom use this method what exactly do I tell the smaller plumbers on how to apply Aquapea? Seems to be a task I can get a smaller more local plumber to do.

This 100% works as described. I'm a harry homeowner with a slab leak, well who had a slab leak. Im straight poor, i couldn't even afford a fancy jig like they recommend. I simply filled my lines with hot water, I knew where the leak was because it was audible and i could see it with a FLIR under my hardwood on the slab. I purchased this for 90$ kneaded it myself , made the ball, stuffed it in my hotwater line and wished it well. Within 2 minutes my water meter stopped moving and I could no longer hear the leak. Take in mind this leak would drain my hotwater heater and i would wake every morning to a cold shower, high electric bill and water bill. This system works as stupid as it sounds. Just looking at it i thought WTF an airsoft ball and some 2 part epoxy. Man was i wrong, best 90$ I've ever spent.

Usually, when i cut a manifold the water will drop. If its holding water. Its not the line leaking.

Whoever invented this should be in handcuffs right now for what they charge even when it doesn't work.

I'm in the marjet for a moisture meter to complement my flir E6-xt and was wondering if you would still reccomend this meter?

Can I turn my water off and shove the ball say in my water line from my washer in the garage then turn that valve off then turn on my main and the pea should find it's way to my leak? I am no plumber and don't have the ability to do all those temp water lines..

So many questions. , is the putty safe in the potable water? The putty won't stuck to opening , leaks are never perfectly made, they have odd edges, not enough pressure to push the epoxy through to stop leak, 30 years of plumbing days this is good idea but so many nooooos

I just purchased two aqua pea for a leak under foundation that was located by professional leak detector. I placed aqua pea at beginning of main line and neither worked even a little. No change in flow to even slow it down. Had to re pipe. I took a chance that would have saved thousands if it worked. I lost 150 plus shipping.

i need this. about about 2 gallons leaking every 10 minutes and ive islolated my self to a hot water line from my water heater out. times are tough this seem like a great temp solution for my current issue.

A step by step procedure for setting up the locator would be very helpful. The locator has a lot of different settings and is very complex, and not easy to figure out until it's setup properly.
