Sorry, just now seeing this, and I stopped playing after beating the gauntlets, so im definitely out of practice. On the off chance you're still struggling, and this advice is just from what I remember; you wanna be super aggressive, its a really long fight, and your focus is probably gonna start to slip near the end, dont prolong it more than you have to. Also, some of his moves just outright kill you from full health, if nothing else, Master parrying those in particular. I wasn't very successful on this attempt, but when he mist raven's, I quickly block dance twice like I'm trying to deflect the mist raven itself, rather than the 2 sword swings. If he jumps, his flaming owl can't be jumped over, use the pillars to block it. And even with 0 spirit emblems, empowered mortal draw is your best damage source;it also comes out faster if you jump and use it as an aerial combat art. Phase 2 he definitely goes crazy though. Don't be afraid to use rice/fine snow/rice balls/ jizo statues, they come back after the gauntlet. I would recommend against divine confetti, for me the particle effects obscured too much of his movements, but Ako's Sugar should be fine if you actually get a chance to pop one. Also you can practice him in reflections of strength before you've beaten him.
