You should drop between the bridge when it raises, it does some weird ish to your screen

When I played this game I had a glitch in same spot but a different one . I’d just gun it going straight and hit bridge going up at full speed and then for some reason the next intersection all the cars would fall into and get stuck under map

But how can you leave the car when it is moving??

So nostalgic to see that. When I was around 12 to 13 years old, I've discovered this glitch by myself and was so funny but was even better when I've met two new friends in school which also found that glitch by themselves and we together had a lot of fun replicating this glitch at one of these two friends home.

Oh man I loved the Blue & white car

I think I spent more play time on this glitch than on the main story

The fact that it was glitchy af is what made it so fun. And the 3 was all the more glitchy

I used to do that, but I didn't know how I triggered it. I would do random stuff like walking backwards close to the bridge to go to the other side of the road. Other things, too, like leaving my vehicle while jumping.

Still remember the first time this happened! Absolutely pmsl when my car reappeared and fired down the street at 100mph pinballing all the other cars all over the place. 😆😆 Best glitch ever.

The memories

I remember doing this for hours as a kid. I'm not sure if it was easier or harder to do at night but I remember laughing so much at the shadows and lights of the cars spinning on the ground even though the car was nowhere to be seen and then being really surprised when the car would drop out of the sky, good times 😄

Wow you were lucky at 4:19 because by the time your damage bar went full the cop's car died. If it didn't the game is over. (It's game over when you are being pursued and your damage bar is full)

Never had this happen on chicago but on havana if i remember it was on or near the main road by the ocean/sea car would just fall through the ground sometimes.

ah this game: D this glitch is present in all cities and I know why this is happening because there are cordydates XYZ near the bridge and they are at 0 and this glitch would be much bigger.

I switched from that gray car to a cop car in mid air; when we collided -press the triangle twice real fast an I was in the cop car. miss this game much

I always wondered; in the shadow of the person it has a gun in its hand, i always tried every button to shoot, or looking it up. I played my arse off

I have done this before but differently. I sat my car on the crack of the bridge and let it fall through. I never had the roads have some kind of invisible barrier, or the roads and buildings glitch out before either.

I used to see this often and wondered wtf was going on. Did you ever do the "police chasing you outside the car" glitch? I think I only got it to work in Havana and Rio, and only in certain places. Basically you get a police car after you, and if you lose it, usually in an alleyway or similar and immediately get out of the car, if the circumstances are right it'll begin chasing you on foot and trying to run you down. You know the glitch worked as you'll hear the siren but the blue light won't be on, and the car will relentlessly chase after you. Frequently works at the place in Rio near where you start at the corner of the beach. Some kind of palace/where the canons are. It's been about 15 years so I can't remember much other than nailing it down to a fine art.

I remembered this glitch! Once I saw this, I was like what the fuck?! although, I laughed at it!

I just had another bug once In Havana I was driving a Plymouth in Church yard...I had fenoly a bit...the cop found me but just before he attacked I got out of the car Then guess what...the cop attacked the empty car I was in...I just watched how the cop was destroied and when I got into my damaged car , I had more fenoly but I wasnt even inside😅

This glitch happened to me when i was a kid and i didn't know what was happening. I had been seeing the car shadows and didn't really know what they were, then i saw some cars falling outta the sky, like what the heck is going on here!? Then i saw cars falling through the ground, then decided to play on a different city. But it was fun. I had just been messing around in the game, trying to get launched in the air and what not when this glitch happened to me.

I remember that glitch too! :D It is 17 years ago where i played Driver on the PS One, i was there 6 years old. By the way do you know the train glitch?

Lots of glitches in each of the 4 cities. Chicago had this and driving on the grandstands at the baseball field. Las Vegas was jumping limos over the pedestrian bridges. If you pile them up on the sidewalk or on the pedestrian overpass, they will start to explode off one another. then you can launch them, jump out, and they sink into the road. In Rio, drive them into the volcano lake crater, after about 10 or more, they start raining cars. Walk around the rim and off the edge of the map. Go to the monument with wide steps and a platform. Drive city buses just over the edge and they will do a headstand, you can line up about 5 side-by-side that way. Drive other cars on top of them and they will launch to the moon! The ferry dock in Havana had a similar glitch, but I can't remember how to trigger it now. There was a glitch at the fort, too. Launch a bunch of them into the ocean in Rio and they start raining cars that way too!
