Thank you so much for the detailed reply. It is always nice to get a better understanding about my questions/thoughts from the creators themselves. It is great to know there are already more volumes ready to go. I am even more excited to read them, whenever that may be.

I'm more of a sci-fi guy, so I haven't read your book, but I do like the concept of your book that TheACStories discussed. I also like how the protagonist is college-age instead of the typical high schooler. As for your comment about writing a chapter every month, maybe I should do that, too, to get out of my slump. When I was in high school and college, I used to write a chapter every week on a book series I never published since I wrote it by hand.

@@reidkemper It's really helped me to avoid burnout. I used to aim for one every two weeks, but that was just too much for me, especially with a long-running story like this. If it starts to feel like a chore, then it's time to ease up. This is also one of the reasons I take the month of December off each year, along with all the family gatherings that tend to happen around the holidays.

I did like the premise and the idea of a lot of the ideas. It just did not feel like a lot of it was fleshed out enough to be appropriately coherent. I enjoyed it enough that I would read a second volume, but with hopes that there would be plenty of all this cleared up and better understandable.

I enjoyed it regardless of my nitpicking. I really would look forward to reading a second volume and see the potential for where the story can go.

The R seems too random of a stylization to not have some kind of significance. Also, at first I thought Elsi eyes were just some kind of side effect from Zurie repeatedly using suggestion. Seemed a little farfetched to suddenly be like oh I probably have powers I can use right away now.

@@TheACStories that’s what I thought at first, then I wondered if she was just really good at observing things, and the author just explained it like she had superpowers. I do wish that was better explained, or talked about more before it happened at least

I seriously doubt it will ever turn into a hit, especially with how WSJ is treating series. If you enjoy it, good for you; I just like actual substance in manga instead of this waterdown copy and paste they keep doing with the exorcist-type genre. I will continue it though because I want to stay up to date on WSJ series.

Now that it is 7 chapters in I can say I am quite enjoying it. The story so far is nothing special yet, but I like the characters enough and the pace is just right for me.

I don't know! I would be mad, whoever that is did still end up getting it in there eventually.

It is an intriguing drink; definitely not what I expected. I am not much of a brandy fan, but the B&B did grow on me. I am glad others are trying new stuff, too!

Thanks! I have been enjoying this anime too. I watched the original and glad this one took a more story route this time. You can probably tell, but I normally don't make myself drinks, usually just neat or beer. This has been a fun new thing to do.

The sad part is I was really excited for it before reading it. I thought the title page looked cool and never really saw someone do the necromancy angle for a protagonist before. Then it was all just so bleh...

I was just surprised I did well at all since this was my first time using this weapon. Already moved up to being one of my favorites.

When I made this I did not realize there were going to be so many more parts, because I thought it was supposed to be a one-shot. I think I am just going to wait until it is over and then review it as a whole, since I am already behind with reviewing parts 2 and 3.

It shouldn't bother me. But, I mainly just don't like the Americanizing it and taking away one of the most unique aspects of manga.

I have done it quicker since this, but definitely not in 9. The quickest I have done any floor so far is 19 seconds.

The time crunch is definitely a rising issue for the manga world, and everything really. My other problem I want fixed is not giving manga series the time to breath and development. Then it causes creators to have to suddenly rush to a terrible ending when there was obviously a lot more planned. I am almost at the point of not reading anymore Weekly Shonen Jump/Jump+ just because so many good series get cut short. It makes those series so unsatisfying in the end. Like, for example, Jiangshi X...

I'll have another video for each of the last two chapter explaining more in the next couple days, but I think the ending is really disappointing just due to how rushed it had to be. Plus, it felt like the author kind of just gave and ran out of time to do a proper final chapter.

I can see it being that way for many, especially when younger.

Yeah everything at this point has to be rushed. You are right about both. There really has not been much serious struggle or really anything bad seen the beginning. Hopefully whatever these last three chapters do will at least make for somewhat of a satisfying ending. (I usually hate the end of any series, so I do not have high hopes.)
