Why not making the tamper have exact dimensions with the inner diameter for precise compression of the coffee like in normal portafilters. That way a paper filter could be added on top to help with even better distribution of the water through the coffee and a much better extraction.

It's a trick. They put instant powdered coffee into the pod first then fill it with ground coffee beans.

This pods damaged my machine 😡😡😡 Do not recommend, neither for next or plus, it’s cheaper and better experience to buy the nespresso ones and they have a AAA recicle program

Does the filter in this cup also filter cafestol out the coffee? Because that's very bad for your cholestorol. Could you reply?

I purchased two of the Eco-Pod Coffee capsules. NOT impressed at all. It hardly extracts any coffee at all. That from a fine grind, medium roast. Which when putting the exact same coffee amount through my Aeropress comes out as one of the best tasting coffee's ever. So these pods have a LONG way to go before they match even an Aeropress, much less the capsules supplied by Nespresso. I've almost stopped using my nespresso Vertuo, as I can't afford the capsules... yet I was dumb in thinking that spending $AUS140! on two devices would be cheaper - NOT!

for all the sustainability nespresso raves on about if they sold just the coffee instead of the pods they would meet the that 100% sustainability, its really disconcerning working in the boutique and how many of those pods with have to take out to the bins cause their are way to many to fit into recycling

How das the Veturoplus Maschine recognize the size of the cup with those ones

Why buy an espresso machine with capsule and then use it as a normal espresso machine which is also easier to use than this one? It just doesn't make sense.
