    This is not the Pakeha model that has been flourishing on stolen Maori land for 180 years - which continues to flourish and, will continue to do so into the future.

    I had some respect for Annette before this tirade. It is absolutely no wonder why David Symore of Act and Winston Peters and Shane Jones NZ first are getting so much traction with the Rednecks. I live in Rotorua and Tania is my Daughter but for goodness sake blaming her for trying to stop the deliberate Labour Govt. Policy of using Rotorua as a dumping ground for emergency housing and the Homeless is absolute bullshit. Annette talks of her whanau from Pikiao and Makino that all of a sudden became homeless because of COVID 19 when they had to return to Rotoiti, Rotoma and Otamarakau . The one's I saw in Town were not from Rotorua and surrounding area's. They were begging and intimidating locals and tourists for money. Waving around Tino flags and some trying to appear Porangi for housing no doubt. Some were younger than my Moko's. Te Arawa Annette would never ever stoop to begging especially in their own Rohe. You want to be the champion for the under privileged algud but please don't put our Te Arawa Uri in that same boat. We don't and never will stoop to that level. There will be exceptions but definitely not the rule. Most of us in Rotorua are concerned as everyone in NZ about Homeless but we will and should look after our own first and foremost. Ngati Pikiao were part of the Pumautanga $38.6m settlement, Ngati Makino got $9.6m you have Rotoiti 15 multi million assets, Rotoma 1 & 3 multi million assets, Haumingi and Waione also and others. Charity starts at Home Annette. Best you ask these trusts what are they doing to address your so called homelessness amongst Kawatapuaarangi and don't pick on Ngati Whakaue please as you demean yourself.

    The interest from the bond money payed to rent a house. What happens to that money,let me tell you. It pays for the tenancy courts which are used 95% by landlords and rest goes to a government department which has gold plate wash basins and their own art buyer.

  • @Peter-kk6rg
    @Peter-kk6rg ปีที่แล้ว

    Maori by law should be getting the interest from their bond money from the houses which they rent.Maori have a treaty,which says what is good for the government is good for Maori. This means that the tax free capital gains that landlords make is illegal, because the capital gains on Maori bond money is keep by the government.
