Whats the difference between in the low profile vs the cruise edition?
I'm finding that a camlock strap is plenty strong for this application and is easier to manage.
I agree, but for the price of the rack I'm assuming they went with this method to justify the price and durability advantages
I see that the rack lays on top of the spitter. Has anyone ever had any issues with that? Or does it sit high enough that the cooler or whatever is being used inside the rack, won't cover it and the water can disperse without any issues?
Hi Erik, most people disconnect the water spout on their ski it's very easy to do and could bother the one riding behind you if that's the case , the Rack will be on the way of your water spout but it won't affect the functionality of your ski or Rack, however it may affect whatever you are putting inside the Rack since the water will be hitting on the same spot from the bottom.

Did I understand that you need to release the pressure on the turnbuckles when not using the ski? If so why? Thanks
Why having that pressure on the Mat if you are not using the Rack ?, the correct thing will be to remove the Rack after riding so you can wash your ski better, it's very easy to take off just release the turnbuckles and unclip.

we discontinued this product since all our Cruise Edition Racks come with pre-drilled holes to place the Rotopax Base
