That little section of the wall next to the door acts as an exit switch.

I had 2 big mistakes, the enemies are pretty easy to get around but you just die so quick. It's like leap forgging between medkits lol

Lol, I was looking at it last night. I remember having a weird strategy to keep a door open to save some time since I couldn't get that rocket jump.

@@AlexEightch I'm not sure I gave that a go. In general I hate jumps because I know I have a slow controller. I did just discover you can grab yellow key early from below, so I will get a decent run with that strategy and submit :)

Wasn't too bad, felt the same but just sucked losing runs to it lol.

Ok Jesus I finally got it twice. Now I just need to pull it off in a run. Oh and GG btw, I didn't even know about this. Makes my sweet jump that I did the other day all for nothing tho lmao

@@Collin255 I just learned about this trick too. GG on your run, just finished watching it. It's so much harder than E2M6, I literally only got this one to work 3-4 times now.

Lol I know it's possible. Sometimes an enemy will bump it back up for you too. I was too chicken to do a run without invis because it helps so much.

You can do one on the other set of bars too. Thankfully glides don't seem too difficult on Kex

Lol, have always loved doing all the difficulties on boss maps. Pretty interesting to see the differences and sometimes the harder difficulties end up being faster.

Sure, I can try and think of a couple that will be fun, let me know if you have any in mind too. I play on X-Box with controller so I'm generally quite a bit slower with my movement than PC players. As a result I've always liked maps with tricks and the boss maps.

It's not cheating it's just timing the Arch Vile's fire attack on you which gives you a little jump boost when it activates. It's 100% luck from what I remember and I just needed to keep retrying until I got lucky, cheers!

Yes, this trick is called a glide. You need to be lined up as close to straight as possible, you can use the map and zoom in to ensure you're lined up straight. Then I gently keep tapping forward on my analog stick until I squeeze through. This trick has always been inconsistent for me, sometimes I get through in one second other times I can take up to a minute or more. Cheers!

I don't think I'd call this a glitch because it is literally just fitting perfectly through a gap. It is definitely unintentional in most cases because it often skips huge parts of the map. I'm not sure when this trick was discovered but there's quite a few older maps you can do this trick on. Newer map makers I think know about the trick so change the placement of the bars slightly so you can't fit in. Also a little more info on the trick, this is called a guided glide because there is a wall beside me I can use to help line-up. It's possible to do unguided glides with no walls next to you but I have never been able to do one on XBox so that may be a PC only trick. Cheers!@@Tweak203
