UPDATE; thanks, everyone for all the advice. I’ve finally found the time to work on this project and made some great improvements. I made this enclosure air tight with the exception of the ported air escape and it dramatically improved the bass quality. Thanks, everyone for all the awesome advice. I would’ve never known!

Air leak. You easy can find with your hand the leak source.

Does the noise go away when you free air it, if not then its something is wrong with the voice coil otherwise its just an air leak

I know why your subwoofer do that it from the subwoofer getting to much air between it

the spider or coil might have an issue, you should pull the sub and inspect it.. also check to make sure nothing is rattling around inside the box like a piece of paper.. and lastly like everyone else said, try and eliminate any air leaks other than through the port if there is one.. you can use tape to stop the air from leaking, will work fine and is easily removable incase that isnt the issue.. id try playing the subwoofer with it outside the box.. if you hold the sub and play it and the rattling sound is emanating from the subwoofer, then the subwoofer needs to be re-coned if possible or replaced if the company doesn't sell recones for you specific subwoofer..

Most definite air leaks Make sure to screw in all the screws nice n tight n if it still makes this Then a layer of hotglue around the basket does the trick amazingly

It’s probably an air leak from a hole or something. Try to locate where the leak is coming from (it could be like an unused screw hole or something) and seal it so that there is no air leaking from the box.
