Question. I have custom orthotics and have replaced the top cover with a replacement off amazon since it's cheaper than having the podiatrist do it. However the part where the plastic ends at the ball of the foot is a steep 3 or 4 mm drop off. what material can i use to taper the transition and glue the bottom part of the new top cover?
You could use some EVA foam with adhesive to taper the drop, it should be available on Amazon.

Something wrong with the final footwear, foot boundary very much out side the footwear, something the mould technique used is not wright.
Hello, the foot is well within the boundary of the sandals. We make the footwear snug or roomy based on the patient's wish. This particular patient wanted her sandals to be as sleek as possible so we kept minimal margins.
@@podiapro nice , do you give the arch pressure soft or hard?… we used to take POP bandage type of mould with patient leg elevated to non weight bearing posture. We are from chennai , MOHANA ORTHOTICS center, we do the same making of custom made footwear but all with local hand techniques only .
@@vijaikrishnan401 That's great. The arch is given soft or firm or even hard, depending on the condition of the patient's foot. Our footwear is handmade as well.

Are the insoles included in the flight from Germany to Bombay? Jokes aside. With me, mine were made according to a simple footprint. No wonder my insoles are just horrible.
I think the cost of the flight + insoles will be lesser than the cost of insoles purchased in Germany (from what I've heard)! Good insoles can be made off a footprint and observation of the gait pattern too if the practitioner is experienced. Sorry to hear yours didn't turn out to be good.

@@podiapro Wow very quick reply 😂 after 1 year. I did DIY with M-seal at home. Take an M-seal put it in a plastic sheet put your foot on it and press a little bit, it creates a shape like 'D' or 'karanji' and then it dries within 15 min take it out and use double side tape to stick it to slipper, shoe sole, sandle etc.

@@rushabhatpodiapro nope I just searched on TH-cam 😂 they were foreigner so they used silicon. Silicon is like gel/rubber and m-seal is like rock solid that's the only difference.
