The real issue is not us creating our own, doing for us, building businesses, schools or self sustaining. We are the first builders of civilization. Everyone is capitalizing off of us. How do we protect our communities, businesses and resources? How do we keep racist from sabotaging and burning down our communities? Gentrification is not black peoples fault. This is why the government did the reconstruction era and Indian removal act. They was restructuring everything they stole from the indigenous people. There are a lot of black towns flooded under water. The government disappeared black communities, developed induced displacement, generational wealth destroyed.
