A1 rook was no checkmate - its the start of the pattern, its mate in another 3 moves. Rook blocks, you take, bishop blocks, you take, queen blocks, you finally take and checkmate.

I want to try this, but I want to use the fantasy variation. The other lines of this may be a little risky to get into anything theoretical

The idea is that after the knight takes queen we move pawn to e6 to deliver checkmate

You should probably do two things, have the chess board on top, the board on the bottom gets covered by the title card, and you should have the side youre playing as (in this case white to move) on the bottom, this puzzle looks like you are playing black.
