picked this 12 up from notting hill the other day. its special because it marks the end of the legendary photek era which, to me, remains the greatest mastery of breaks anyone has ever achieved. after this release he went on to create lower bpm music like house and dubstep, which i do actually quite enjoy, and steered away from his meticulous, sparse sound for more aggressive beats within DnB, which i do not enjoy at all. this records marks that split. i like the photek remix over the original because the bleep does get on my nerves sometime lol, but both are great really. big up Rupert.
