I gotta say Skar is good for the price I have an SDR-12 and I don't have a good amp for them(i just connect them to my logitech z623's sub channel which is 300w at most) but still theres a crazy amount of flex on the lows and its crazy loud in the skar 36hz ported box(it could potentially be louder in a custom box but I'm kinda low on money and I dont have the materials to make a box). At the time the box and sub were $200 total

Nice test ive tried powering a 10" rockford fosgate P3 with my charge 4 and it actually had a lot of excursion probably 1" of flex. The ch4 is only 30w and it was performing as if it was connected to 350-500w. Also I saw in another comment that you have a ch3. Ik you said the battery is water damaged, but is it a GG or TL model because GG model ch3's have battery problems almost all of them but TL's usually have no issues. The drivers on GG models also have terribly glued tensil leads and they will come loose which both of the issues i mentioned happened to my ch3 GG-IH i bought.

Wow, thats insane how a small jbl flip can power 2 huuge subs, well it's not super loud but at least it shows how powerful these small bluetooth devices are, because they were capable of outputing pretty decent bass!

Broo try running the JBL with charger connected it should have more power to drive the subs. The battery was running flat and that's why it had cut out

What i learn is with aftermarket radio no bass boost. With factory radio a little bass boost will help. Just depends on box design, radio, amp and sub. But never max out the bass boost

The problem with how you are using the BASS BOOST I wouldn't use it either. IF you are going to use bass boost - you have to adjust your GAIN to match with it. I use bass boost all the time and it isn't about it being dirty or distorted. IF that was the case there would be no need for any factory making amps to have a bass boost setting on them EVER. You never use bass boost without adjusting your gain. I suggest making a second video showing just that.

A great idea would be different subs in various sub woofer boxes even if you build the boxes yourself for testing. as for blowing tiny speakers on big amps that has been done to death.

I would stick to informative videos. Anyone can blow speakers.

I disagree, with my previous subs I had the bass boost turned to the highest and I never blown them. Had them for like 2 years before I sold them perfectly fine.

my subs only sound alright when i have bass boost turned up. but i have a epi center for my spanish music and it sounds good but once i switch to my rap music i turn the epi center off and there’s no bass. i have stock headunit can anyone help?
