Yup those long drives 😆. Only dipped my toes into ATS. Done a 1500k+mile run in ETS2 and that felt like a lifetime driving. For the life of me I cannot drive on the outside view 😂 so kudos for doing it.

Until you realise that you'll need another 210k on top of your 180k for 2 more trucks add drivers. Usually with ATS or ETS2 I'll quick job till level 6-8 then get 500k loan. Usually saved near 100k so that's garage upgrade for 2 more drivers add trucks with change. Along the way to level 6-8, I'm finding jobs that take me to cities that have employment agencies. Looking at finding at least 12 so my pool of driver's are better. But some people out there go the no loan route. I might try it on another game save,but using the 500k loan means I'm up and running by level 8 garage wise.
