    Thank you for the anti glare advise im in the middle of an order trying to decide on anti glare right now and transitions. I just spent a ton on Prada RX sunglasses so idk if i need the transitions but i just like having the option of going to my car and not having to dig out my sunglasses first in the grocery store and i like being able to just keep them in my car and have my transition ones for when i go to my car to the house or inside somewhere and not having to switch out again or whatever idk ....i think i definitely at least need antiglare tho especially for night driving. As im glare sensitive. Thanks for the review. I almost bought some without it!!! Would have been a big mistake.

    i've never had the funds to spend loads of money on lush but i occasionally treat myself. in my experience some of the products are way too harsh, i bought a lush salt scrub recently that was meant to be for face & body - it's certainly not going back on my face!!! i really can't justify spending that much on something that i might not be able to use as intended and since i'm a distance from a shop, i'm not going to return it when that does happen. i used to be a little more ambitious with trying their new products but i'm ok for it now because of that. i have personal favourites and i like the cheaper products but idk about spending £4-£8 on a bath when it could be almost free! edit: happy early birthday! enjoy that gift set!

    I’ve never seen ur channel before but I feel the same way about Lush that I do about a LOT of “consumer communities” now. I would do the same, spending a lot of money on bath products, beauty products, fragrances. And I was a huge fan girl of several specific clothing brands. Mostly because not only the brands created a really fun and addictive shopping experience, but I was also addicted to posting my purchases online, tracking drops, talking to other ppl who were also obsessed with the brands. I’m just tired of it. Life is already too expensive. And like you said, a treat is nice. But I can go to the library for a “treat” or go out to coffee with a friend. I’m done collecting *things*.

    i do really really like their perfumes and body sprays. especially because they have quite a lot of unique scents and i find they smell nicer to me than most perfumes, i think maybe this is because a lot of their scents are essential oil based rather than synthetic? at least that's how they advertise them, and I've struggled to find anything else that compares. everything else is soooo overpriced though, i used to buy quite a bit from there (mostly shower products) but i just can't justify the cost anymore.

    • @louisem97
      @louisem97 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      the perfumes and body sprays are definitely their most unique and worth it items i think, i like perfumes in general but i definitely notice the difference with lush ones - no mainstream perfume i've found leaves you smelling like baked goods or popcorn!

  • @tisugga

    See what turned my nose away from lush was that my housemate worked there, and would bring back hoards of freebies or stuff that was 'defective' and couldn't be sold. I came to realise a lot of them smelled the same, or kind of went an underwhelming colour when the bath bombs were done. And after using, and going in store I was a bit shocked honestly that it was soooo expensive. The quality didn't reflect the price imo. Also the body sprays? Why on earth are they over £30... Anyway I can no longer spend my money there, it's just not worth it to me. I now get a big bag of bath salts and a radox bath bomb on occasion and I feel just as good and for way cheaper.

    As a retired optician I love hearing anyone say that they like wearing glasses, but especially when it's being said by an attractive young woman like yourself. Nice to see that after getting your new glasses from Boots, which by the way look so nice on you, that since getting them you have apparently been wearing your glasses fulltime now as you were instructed to do. I tell by looking at your glasses that their not nearly strong enough that your not still able to pretty well without them. But I'm sure by wearing them all the time your eyes have fully adjusted to the prescription in them and when you take them off your eyes aren't able to focus very well without them anymore. But that's why you now are wearing glasses now. Even though I really love the glasses you got from Boots I'm so glad to see that you ordered a couple pairs of glasses on-line from Firmoo also. Even though your prescription isn't all that strong your eyes are already becoming quite dependent on your glasses to see properly. So it's important that you have a second pair at least as backup or spare pair in case anything were to happen to your Boots glasses. You don't ever want to be without glasses waiting for new glasses to be made. Usually the fastest you can get glasses made is 3 or 4 working days. So you already probably wouldn't want to be without glasses that long would you? Plus your young and attractive and since glasses are now going to be a permanent fixture on your face it's much nicer to have more than one pair of glasses to wear. I always remind people, especially young women, that they have more than one pair of shoes and more than one hand bag and they would never be caught dead wearing the same outfit two days in a row. So why would the want to be wearing the same pair of glasses everyday? I really love the glasses you got from Firmoo. Based from what I could tell here in You Tube they both seem to fit you pretty well. Now just so you know it, if either pair does feel completely comfortable on you, you can take them to any optical store and have them adjust them for you. There shouldn't be any charge for that. At least here in the U.S. we don't charge for that service. Most people like having the adjustable nose pads on their glasses. The main complaint is with most is that they leave red marks on the sides of their nose. That's generally caused for two reasons. One reason is the pads need to spread apart to fit the nose better. The other reason is people for some reason feel the need to push their glasses on tight. That then will result in those red marks. Always lower your glasses gently onto your nose and don't push on them. Most of the newer glasses style frames have adjustable nose pads and several of the young girls tat worked in our optical store wore glasses with adjustable nose pads and I had to teach them how to wear their glasses after I saw the red marks on there noses when they took off their glasses. Not helpful for the girl selling someone glasses to have red marks on her nose when she took her glasses off. Now I saw you several times take off and put glasses on using only one hand. Stop doing that. When you do that your actually stretching the frame each time and it won't be long before you find your glasses constantly sliding down your nose. Use both hands. Also one good thing now that your a fulltime "glasses girl" when you take your glasses off at night, don't bother closing them. leave them open and ready to put on the the morning. Opening and closing of your glasses will slowly loosen the screws where the hinges are. I would be a very rich man if I only had a dollar for the number of screws I replaced in people's glasses. Also it would be a very good idea for you to buy yourself a set of mini screw drivers. You can buy a set at any optical store or where they sell watches because they also use very tiny screws. Even some hardware stores will sell them. They sell for under $5.00. Then every few months or if feel a temple getting loose feeling tighten the screw on your glasses. Don't forget to tighten the screws on the adjustable nose pads as well. I have a feeling based on how seldom you were seen wearing glasses in You Tube that very few people even knew you had glasses until you recently started wearing them all the time. And even the few tat knew you had glasses are probably surprised seeing wearing glasses all the time now. So have you gotten many nice comments and complements on your glasses and how nice you look wearing glasses. I'm sure you know what your prescription is because you had to have it in order to order your glasses. So do you mind me asking you what it is? I know you are shortsighted in one eye and longsighted in the other. But I don't think much of a prescription for either eye. But because your eyes are like that is the reason you need to be wearing glasses all the time. If you have any vision question or questions about glasses please feel free to ask me. By the way you now have three pair os regular glasses but what you don't have and should be considering getting is a nice pair of prescription sunglasses. Especially if you drive a car. You no longer can wear non-prescription sunglasses to drive. For prescription sunglasses check out Zenni Optical. Don't go to the sunglasses section but rather look in the regular glasses and find something you think would look really great as sunglasses. You then can have them made into sunglasses for $5.00 extra. Their regular glasses including the lenses in your prescription start as low as $7.00. So it's very possible for you to get prescription sunglasses for as low as $12.00. Shipping is $5.00 and Zenni is international so they ship anywhere the mail goes.

It's really quite interesting because you really are able to see and function very well without glasses even though your eyesight isn't at all perfect. But because your right eye is "shortsighted" , nearsighted to us here in the U.S. and "longsighted" farsighted here, your actually able see quite well aren't you? Most people don't realize that we actually see with our brain and not our eyes. Our eyes are just the lenses that the brain tells them what to see. So without any thinking on your part when you look at something in the distance your brain instantly shuts off your right eye and your really only seeing with your left eye. And of course that means when you are looking at or reading from a book it's your right eye that your reading with and not your left eye. If you were seeing with both eyes, nothing would be clear to you.. everything would be at least a little fuzzy or blurry. But there is a down side to only seeing things with one eye or the other eye all the time. Your often over working both eyes by doin that. For that reason you really should be wearing your glasses all the time even if your able to see quite well without them. Not to mention how cute you look wearing glasses. Glasses really suite you well. Wearing your glasses isn't going to do any harm to your eyes and won't anyway cause your eyes to worsen. Now what will happen by wearing glasses fulltime is your eyes eyes will get used to them and you will be seeing everything with both eyes rather than just one. So when you take your glasses off things are going to be quite blurry because your eyes had fully adjusted to your glasses. Now after having your glasses off for a while your eyes would soon with the help of your brain be able to see by using one eye at a time. This was at least a year ago and you have since gotten new glasses. I'm assuming you also may have needed an increase in your glasses as well. So did you need an increase for your shortsighted eye or your longsighted eye or both eyes? So since getting your new glasses have you tried wearing these glasses to see how well your able to see wearing them? If you find their a bit too weak for your eyes you should put them in a glasses donation box so they can be reused by someone with a need for glasses with a similar prescription as your glasses. It doesn't make any sense to hang on to something if there of no use to you anymore. Too bad because they are really a cute retro "cat-eye" style. But something you should know. As plastic gets older it becomes brittle and the frame will almost certainly break when removing the lenses and replacing them with new lenses. In fact most glasses stores won't even attempt swapping out lenses in plastic frames after a couple years time. By the way if you have any questions about your eyes or glasses please feel free to ask me. I really enjoy answering people's questions.

    I'm also wanting to make a cowboy hat! I like the idea of using an actual hat underneath.
