@Industrial Sound Fanatic Intonation gets better with some more expensive guitars, but ultimately you get what you pay for! Fender's intonate better(IMO) than Gibson's, when talking about starting with USA Made guitars. But someone else may disagree and say PRS! Hope that helped?

Jeremy Walsh....I no longer play gigs for that amount of money. I am a Semi-Retired now, so it doesn't matter to me anymore. But when I do gig, I don't leave my house for anything less than $100 now! Otherwise, I would rather stay at home....just not worth it for the amount of set-up & tear-down time plus playing the music.....it's a 5 hour commitment to play an all-nighter. Just an FYI & this is my opinion.

Jeanri Ringo...No Drugs were responsible for any of my departures from working Bands. I was always completely sober when I worked as a full-time musician! That's what I took away from SRV getting clean & sober!! He showed us all, you could be such a better player without the booze and the drugs!

Anyone else that I missed giving you a shout-out, I'm sorry and that is why I did the Bonus Stream tonight. Rock On🎸🌵

Sorry that this had to be said, but I can't stand when Troll's ruin it for everyone else and this particular person ruined two perfectly good Live Streams that were very helpful top other players....in terms of them getting sound advice on guitar gear or music in general. There is no place here for people who only want to Troll & ruin it for everyone else! In the words of Stan Lee, "'Nuff Said!" "Excelsior!"

@RisingPhoenix best advice to a complete beginner on guitar? Get yourself like a "Squire Strat Pack" this holiday Season at Guitar Center or where ever? That will have everything you need to get started playing guitar. You will still need instruction/lessons? Hope this helps?

@DeaconDaves there is one less person in Skynyrd on Gimmie Back My Bullets because Steve Gains was not in the band at that time. It was just Gary Rossington & Allen Collins back on that record! Ed King wasn't with them anymore. They also didn't have the Honket's yet, which Steve Gains Sister, Cassie, was one of the backup Singers in The Honket's. And no, I am not a know-it-all, this is what I can recall...maybe someone else from the chat knows something else?
