@@PoeMisHere The bike I use is a Juiced Scorpion. The company just recently went out of business and was sold at auction to an unknown buyer. I would say save your money for a better bike like the Super73 or Ariel Rider.

NYC is a lot cleaner today than what it was in the 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s. As far as it not being a nice place, I would disagree. We are nice people we just don’t like having people who don’t know how to walk be in the way. We have places to be, and people are just standing in the middle of the sidewalk talking a picture of a building like they never seen a building before.

@ I have the relay rack on the back. But, I meant “cart” as in to carry or transport. I usually pick up packages and mail.

@@hdtv00 I’m using the 19.2ah battery on this video but for some reason it doesn’t charge all the way. I like PAS 2 because it’s fast enough without using to much power.

This is NYC. They have a better chance of seeing a crazy person on the street than one showing up at their door, especially when a majority of buildings here have either a doorman or intercom

@BattleRidesNYC well in in london these drivers are nuts. I saw a guy with shopping bags on either arms whilst he was filtering through traffic in the rain during a busy lunch shift hahaha. Yh I just think "would i like my food delivered without thermals"

I have not. DoorDash doesn’t like me. It never seems to be busy enough to DashNow.

I can believe it. The very first time I went out there I made bank but ever since then the orders and money have been getting less and less

The NYC market is not as fun as it used to be. I liked being on hunt for the good paying orders. There was more of a chance landing a high tipping customer, but now with the minimum pay wage, you have to take every order no matter what.

Ooo yes, I use two thermal bags. One is the DoorDash bag and the other one is attached to the bike. In winter I put the DoorDash bag In the bigger bag and the food is extra hot.

I’m delivering on the Juiced Scorpion 52v with a 19.2ah battery.

No, I brought it with the stimulus checks we got back in 2020/2021.

My original e-bike got stolen on the Lower East Side. I was going to buy the Sondors MadMods bike but they kept pushing the release date back. I was tired of renting from Zoom because they never had open appointments for bike maintenance. Also their tire lock locked everyones bike one night because of a glitch and the only way to resolve it was to have them cut the lock but they were not offering anyone any money for the taxi ride to their location or anything.

Going into Manhattan, doing deliveries, then heading back to Brooklyn I’ve done well over 25 miles.

I didn’t have have my horn installed yet since I switched front forks. I stop at every light but if there are no pedestrians or cars I continue while being cautious because anything can happen at the last second.
