I read this yesterday as we're a day ahead of you guys. I always find Ezekiel hard going. It feels like God is the maddest you've ever seen him, in this book. It's a really physical book to read- you feel it, you react to Ezekiel's odd and uncomfortable prophetic actions. Definitely a challenge

Perfectly written script, and commendable production values. But, Dr. Kreeft, having read Sir James Frazer, makes a very dishonest argument, because Job's Complaint concerns the failure of "the law," that good things happen to good people, bad to the bad, a formula of sympathetic magic, that like begets like (Google). I otherwise have learned a lot from Dr. Kreeft on the subject of philosophy.

Can anyone help me understand his point of view that God is in charge, but not necessarily in control when it pertains to verses like 2 kings 17:25 (when the Lord sends lions to devour them). I align with a lot of his point of view, but when He sends animals and shows sovereignty and control over them, I’m not sure how to argue the point from the opposite point of view. Not being combative. Truly seeking understanding. 😊
