EPIC skiing in POWDERHORN bowl at SOLITUDE
This year's January trip out west began at Solitude Mountain Resort. We were met with chalk, bumps, shrubs, and other elements that made for a day of tricky but semi-soft conditions on day 1. Day 2 was nothing short of sensational after 6-8 inches fell overnight. We scored fresh tracks in the morning and continued to plow through leftovers in the afternoon while the snow continued to fall. It was an all-time day for a New Englander like myself! Stay tuned for day 3 at Brighton Resort!

PRE CHRISTMAS turns at STRATTON!

And... we are underway! Day 1 of the ski season is in the books! I took a ride up to Stratton, VT for some early season turns on 12/20. The conditions were by no means ideal, but I enjoyed a mellow Friday of cruisers, park laps, and even some bumps. Enjoy! Remember to subscribe for more ski content!

Back in February, I paid the iconic Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley a visit to ski some of its incredible off-piste slopes. I was absolutely blown away by the views, terrain, and overall vibes in Chamonix. Although we didn't have great snow, the experience from my first trip to the French Alps was unforgettable.

Killington is famous for staying open through Memorial Day Weekend. So this year, I decided it was finally time to check out the Superstar Glacier and made the drive up to one of my East Coast favorites, the Beast!

Another Long Traverse Ahead
Looks like you got it in, in the nick of time....raining all day today in Stratton.
Went on Christmas Day and the lines were non-existent. No ice all morning either, it was amazing 😎
The snow seems real smooth Is this good?
Fantastic review of the mountain . If you need expert expert runs you would not come here in the first place and all the supper expert skiers know that. One hint is to just turn the light off behind your head.
Me!! Pick me!!
I was an exchange student in Chamonix from 1968 to 1969. They didn't have the lift between Brevent and Flegere then. The biggest difference I see is that they cut roads/trails into the steep parts (especially on Brevent) so you have a relatively easy way to get down. I liked La Fleger the best. It was glorious when it was cloudy in Chamonix and you broke through them for a stunning view of Mt Blanc.
If you gonna ski here, learn to pronounce the name properly.
❤
30 ish days🙃
Very nice summary. I am a New Englander who has been going to Snowbird for 30 yrs. Much busier than the 1990s. Best snow in the world. Terrain is outstanding. It has so many hidden gems. I call them my “secret squirrel areas”. I have an occasional to bump into porcupines on the Wilbere chair. ENJOY
Correct pronunciation is like the letter "L" as in L-ta. Or think of "al" as in the word, "altitude." It's clearly not like the word, "all." It's a common mistake.
keep up the great work brother
Great Thumbnail!
Thanks. You're videos are awesome!
@@hmcglash Thanks, my first review attempt was Revelstoke. I'm trying to improve one or two things each time. So much to learn...
Would you recommend Alta for advanced intermediates?
@@mbtravel7294 you could probably get by but I think there are better options out there!
dudes being dudes
what did a ticket cost to run one trail at the perennially expensive killington? I like you edits and lift chat. 😄
Thanks! I used my Ikon pass so not sure what the tickets were costing tbh.
Semi-winter resident of LCC here. Great review.
Good things come to those who traverse........love it!
Let’s gooooo
Nice skiing and lovely conditions... but definitely nothing that deserves to be called "INSANE POW" Clickbait!
That pow is insane bro u def know nothing about skiing buddy.
Cheddar baby
Way to get out there Harrison. Keep it up!
Flegere's nice but it's no Catamount

Unreal content. Keep it up
I really like what you have to say! Super interesting. I wish that you showed a lot more videos of the terrain and kept the voice over. Thanks! I just skied Alta this weekend and it was pretty epic.
Great review!
Bar UE needs to be swung west/replaced with a 4-6chair terminating at the Storm Peak Lab opposite Morningside. That way you could lap the Christmas chutes. Maybe add a Tbar(s) along the ridge to simplify moving between mountain sections.
Al like Al Bundy
How does this have like no likes, great video in my opinion
Thanks!🙌
It’s not Awwl-ta! It’s Al-ta!!
How you can tell he's not a local.
Took a few runs down Mouse Run at the Beast. Always love the park setup at Killington⛷🙌🏻
Steamboat is actually not the best early season many years, they are lower elevation than the other big resorts in Colorado and often don't get cranked up till after new year's. Also the new lift accesses completely new terrain, it does not change having to take two lifts to get to the top of Mount Warner aka the expert stuff.
Thanks for clarifying. Yes, new expert terrain, same shlep over to St. Patts, etc. Looks like Steamboat has had more snow than the others in Colorado so far this season. Looks like it's starting to pick up out west!
👍👍 when the early season ❄️ kicks 🎿🤪 , consider Steamboat 💣👍
Love it
You deserve more subs man keep it up!
Thanks man🙌Spread the word! I'm just getting started😃
